[SPOILERS] Pindicator promises brighter days ahead

Okay great. I moved two workers south toward the battlefield, next turn they will road the tile they are on, you'll see them. I left the elephants in our culture, they have 1/3 move left so I think they can stay in our culture and save us some more gold. If they move 1 more south I don't think they'll really be out of the battle. And other than that you'll need to move the knights down and all.

Too exhausted ... running in 90+ degree heat was may be not the best idea in hind sight.

Anyway, I moved stuff south. Almost moved some knights to also be able to hit Bangor but then thought better of it and stacked them with the elephants.

Started Notre Dame in Lundby. The city has a lot of overflow and it also has 1 more forest to chop. I think we can get it in 8 turns? Need to get two more workshops down ASAP and swap over to working those as soon as they finish.

SO Comm is still razing cities in the fog. That's a 5 pop city I think. Gotta be islands.

How concerned do we need to me about our coast? We have some major production sites on the coast with just a lone defender.

Concerned, but with TBS out at war and Comm not particularly eager to attack us we're fine for the moment. Both of them have weak border cities that they don't want us attacking them at. If they build defensive forces there, then we need to be concerned. We will get optics after banking and get a couple spotlights out there. In a way we are still farmer's gambit-ing. But nobody is 100% protected.

Looks like we still own Giza after NotGav's turn. I will investigate.

Well Fuck.

Now I think I can take revenge still. But those elephants would have been nice to have 1 tile south. My attempt to save money has shorted us one tile of revenge.

We've dropped to 3rd in army size.

I am going to counter.

Okay I killed his whole stack except sword that I haven't decided to kill yet because its the last unit. It cost us 2 CKN and a knight. The knight died at 91% odds to the sword  rolleye

Now Commodore did raze Bangor. However our settler can reach the ruins of the city this turn and settle this turn if we want it too. What would we like to do?

Also Giza was attacked, it survived of course. But there are only 2 units in there now. I can move the units from Heliopolis south to reinforce that as well.

Also I want to stick our GG on the chariot in Giza with 4XP and 1 promo in combat 1. I want to make it a combat medic. Or do you want to upgrade it to a knight and make it a warbeast? I think if its a medic this turn it can help heal 3 HAs in Thebes.

Also I lean towards planting the city in the same spot on the hill.

Hey, just coming out of work. I'm kicking myself for not moving those elephants and CKN units farther south despite your sign - I had been thinking to but I should have. Hard to tell on my phone, but how much did we lose?

I agree with the medic now. We have more knights pouring in and certainly have the need to heal numerous units quickly.

I'm not too upset at Commodore razing Bangor. It let's us keep more consolidated defense - Bangor would have always needed protection for a city that would have been crammed up against Commodore's culture. Plus it saves our units the trouble. Now if Comm resettles the spot...

Edit: from civstats it looks like you settled. I guess that's fine, and it certainly will be good after Not Gav is eliminated. Just more to defend right now.

Edit #2: Commodore just finished Guilds and now is going Theology. I expect him to mass knights now ... I don't think we can assume the same peaceful intent as he has given us. Rather, I think it can continue but we should not over extend right now and give him the feeling that he has an opening to come after us. Ugh, Commodore has also been prone to fatalistic attacking of a leader that he feels he has to rope in. Thankfully TBS fits that role more than us right now, but I'm not sure the margin is so narrow in his mind ...
