That's cool with me, although I guess I say that selfishly because I'd just like to get the game going again.

I am sorry to say that Asterix aka. Maga_R was banned from playing in games that I host due to a very bad record of cheating and smurfing (Asterix is a confirmed smurf account for Maga_R) in two previous games.

Now, it's been a while since those things happened, and I would usually not involve myself in who plays in a game, but the track record so far is two ruined games because of this history, so I strongly advise against risking PB18 getting involved in a third similar incident as those two other games collapsed.

No. Just no. A lot of people have invested a lot of time and effort into this game at this point. I don't want to risk throwing that away on the optimistic chance that someone with a proven negative history has suddenly become other than what they were previously. I don't want the drama or any bullshit. I might actually just not play anymore (apologies for the unintended drama). I feel pretty strongly about this.

Where is Cynehard?

It might seem like an odd offer, but I could cover for a few turns (NOT forever) - I personally think my own in-game situation is inevitable and not going to be changed by anything, so I could cover another civ which (I'm pretty sure) has no bearing or relation to my own. Especially if he just gives instructions, so it's basically just like the lurker civ.

I expect his/my neighbors will disagree, but hey, the offers out there.

I could probably live with this although it is not (for me) ideal as I am uniquely neighboring both Q and Cyneheard. Q, as long as the left half of your brain never conspires with the right half and agrees to put me in the pincer, I'm fine with you taking over. If the left and right halves independently came to that conclusion, fair enough.

While I don't love having anyone on both fronts, you taking over is far better than a sock-puppet miscreant torpedoing the game. And I am also eager to get the game moving again before inertia takes over.

(As you've probably seen by my play thus far...you really don't have anything to worry about. Even if he has 50 tanks lying around, my particular tactical...skill, shall we say, would still leave them as burning husks )

Hi Pindicator, Cyneheard asked me to sub for him, I am completely unspoiled.

The problem is I have not played Pitboss in a while and when I am trying to log in I am stuck at "Select a Civilization" with message "waiting for leaders choice". Is my Internet so slow or does it mean there is something wrong with my configuration?

I will try a couple of times, maybe I will got lucky. Mostly dropping in to say Hi to everybody and that I am working on connecting with the game, but both me and my comp are rusty, so please be patient, looks like I am close.

Never heard about being "banned" from playing in Caledorn-hosted games - I never heard of anybody having problems with me playing in PB14 and PB 14 certainly did not "collapsed", it ended in the well-deserved concession of other teams to Oxyphenbutazone and Suttree, although I got bored during many weeks long holiday break and did not in the later phases. Whatever.
