Rusten and Hitru turn back the clock

So, NoGas took Augustus. Not entirely happy about that and here's why.

We like the Pyramids, Augustus likes the Oracle. So far we get along, but I worry about NoGas oracling MC and trying to get a GE to rush the Pyramids. If they were interested in something else like the great lighthouse then I imagine they would've taken Qin for PRO. Luckily they're not PHI, so we have a 20 turn warning after the Oracle is built, but it's still a worry.

But there are also things to like. We are the only spiritual civ so competition for religion and religious wonders should be low. In an ideal scenario we get early OR to help build key infrastructure like granaries and also the Pyramids. With only 1 IND leader, so much PRO (will prefer GLighthouse) and so much FIN (slow), we are feeling pretty good about getting our Pyramids.

The worst case scenario for this game is NoGas oracling MC, getting a lucky engineer to rush the pyramids and then getting another engineer to rush machinery for super early cataphracts. The best case scenario is us being left alone to expand with IMP and then building Pyramids+religious wonders (+HG?) with stone.

Really looking forward to get this going, I hope SD wakes up soon.

Here's where we are on T27 (+starting scout):

The combination of traits and starting techs works out excellently. We finish BW the exact same turn the worker is ready to chop after improving the deer, and we can 2-pop the settler on T25 after putting a single turn into it. The 2nd warrior finishes the same turn our capital grows to size 4 as well, which doesn't matter for the settler but the warrior hammer overflow speeds up the worker that finishes end of T27. Can't see any good way to improve this so hopefully we can blitz through the starting turns this weekend.

The settler hasn't moved in the screenshot above, so my hope is to settle on T27 and share corn with the capital (while also being connected through coast or river for +2 commerce in trade routes).

Naming scheme: I was originally going to go with something related to PoE, but I imagine NoGas is doing that already.

This is what it's supposed to look like:

This looks like a simple mistake 2 shift to the right. Ramk should be able to fix that

Yes, that was an error. Part of balancing being done after starts was i realized i needed to shift starting locations around and i obviously messed up moving the river here.

This is PBEM, I don’t think Ramk can help so this will require restart.
