[SPOILER] On This Day

I don't know if you followed my posts about the tracking data from the other PBs. If yes, did those change your opinion about ORG?

All I want for Christmas is a sandbox  please

You can make one yourself you know tongue

I did want to let you know that in the final version your start was flipped along the y-axis.  All the tiles should still be the same relation to each other, so it wouldn't change any micro plans, but your start now looks like this:

And yes, the grass deer is still 2W of your starting settler.  I forgot to uncover that tile again but it is the same.

Logged in to move the scout. Nothing exciting.
Password is qwe if you want to check in at some point GKC.

I've made the sandbox, but haven't ran through scenarios yet. I'll attach it to this post. (E: Updated to correct tiles)

First draft:

Settle 1W on T1
Build WB
Build Worker
Build Settler
Build Warrior (until size 3)
(Build Settler)

Tech Fishing
Tech AH
Tech Mining
Tech BW (10 turns remaining as of T29)

Settle 2nd city with the cows in BFC to work the improved tile immediately.
Main problem with this is that the worker would have nothing to do at the end without a horses pop. We could however delay BW to tech Agri first.

Thoughts?

In your sandbox you've got a freshwater clam, but the one at your start is saltwater. So you're giving yourself an extra +1fpt in the sandbox over the game.

So building a settler at size 2 was bad anyway, should be done at size 3 to work the 3H tile and get the IMP bonus from +1H to +3H.

2nd draft:

Settle 1W on T1
Build WB
Build Warrior (until Size 3) (Maybe finish it at some point before losing hammers?)
Build Worker
Build Settler
Build Settler

Tech Fishing
Tech Agri
Tech AH
Tech Mining
Tech BW

Same idea, settle second city with cows in BFC. Pasture will be created just in time for it.

Skipping Agri and AH would let us chop after improving the deer. 2nd city could work the lake whales. I don't like it as much though, I think the 3F/3H cows tile is great.

I ran BW rush a few times more and I think it's better in the end. Obviously chops early skew it because we're limiting the sandbox and with BW later you'd get those chops in later, but the deciding factor for me is that the worker just doesn't have enough to do without early BW.
We'll have 3 cities with 1 worker and 1 warrior. There are no barbs so that helps. 2nd city will have a 3F 2C unimproved tile to work, which is nothing to scoff at.

3rd draft:

Build WB
Build Warrior (finish it)
Build Worker (deer -> chop -> chop -> cows or 3rd city resource)
Build Settler
Build Settler
Build Warrior (3T to build, 3T to grow to size 4) (or chop out another worker for 3rd city)

Tech Fishing
Tech Mining
Tech BW
Tech AH

Revolt to Slavery on T31.
