Day 13
Our brave American scouts have defeated a bear today, althought the odds were at 80% , still a victory worth celebrating, the first of many.
Worker is out farming the corn and now we can finally begin to grow.
Me and my trusted general have been simming a few strategies. We were lucky to get stone and the pyramids are a very good option, however it will hinder our early expansion a lot, and with all this food in our area, it feels like the best option would be to expand as fast as possible as much as possible.
First few turns for worker are obvious and clear, improve corn, deer, ivory and mine. Grow capitol until size 4 to make the most of the improved resources and build work boat at the same time.
Thats all i have for now.

Ive might explained bad myself. I thought to grow to 4 on warrior and then double whip the settler to 1turn OF the worker and then grow back to 4 while making the WB. At least that was my sim.
I think its risky not having defences for 2 cities. Its true we didnt met anyone yet but i wouldnt like that to happen and he get into an empty city. I agree that the WB is better since that would grant tons of food early on, but safety is important too

Turn 25
Josh asked me to play until monday sicne he wouldnt be able to. The instructions were simple. Make the WB 1 turn after growing to 4 and then start a settler. Move the scout to fogbust the gold area.
And thats what im doing.
But i wanted to give you some pics of the map and dots ive made. Josh doesnt agree with some of them, which is fine, since im not really good at this game. He is probably better than me. First city he prefers to settle on the river instead of the incense. And goldcity he thinks about settling 1 E from my dot to share more tiles with capitol. The problem i see with that is that then you have to move the plains pig city to the river and i think that river tile is more important than the plains tile. Ofc he still might be right and i told him to play as he likes since he is the player.
Also looking at demos, it seems we are even with the rest of the people, we are producing a lot right now but working less food. Next turn when we start making the settler with full speed things will change.

It was more painful not playing the last turn than i spected. When i get into the game it pops 2 times the message of puting a building into the capitol, which i assume it was because we lost last turn of production. Im not sure what josh wanted to build, i guess he wanted a warrior, and then chop the second worker, not sure how many turns has the worker left to chop. Idk, in any case if finally someone decides to play the turn feel free to do whatever you feel best.

I think it will be okay, you can recover alright. Painful but not life threatening. Hopefully Josh comes back or we get a substitute for you.

Turn 37-38
Well, this are going a bit crazy. We met 2 people, commodore and now Tarkeel. Both came from the East jungle, so i guess comodore is the first neighbour and tarkeel the second.
Demos are decent i think, but we are really behind on power as we already know since we just have 1 warrior on this turn, doing a settler now to get a third city fast and get more production fast. Right now we have a decent position i think if barbs doesnt start getting annoying. After the settler we will need some warriors i think.
Sadly i forgot to make a screenshot of demos. We were 2nd, 6th and 8th or something like that. Im sure of the second place on GNP, the rest is a bit more confusing.

Turn 50
Josh told me today to play, but didnt give me any instruction. And it was a really surprising turn.
Mmmm Josh bro, i wouldnt have done what you ve done. What a farmers gambit without any defence!!
So we are on 4 cities, with just 2 warriors and no fogbust at all. There were 2 warriors coming and on turn 51 there is 4 warriors. I really hope they move other way. I didnt want to move on turn 51 so you could think a bit on this possition and play it your way xD
I wasted a turn on a warrior on the gold city, that was bad on me. Not its up to you if you shoudl end the worker or the warrior.

Day 62
I have just returned from fighting the invading savages. Gloriours victory, one of many for sure. We have defeated 4 thousand warriors with the loss of only 1 thousand and a deer farm. Thats the only deer those barbarians will ever eat from my lands. I admit i did not exepect this force so large and so soon on emperor, however with some whipping i was able to quickly rally a force and withstand the attack at minimal loses.
Some more news we have the chinese and egyptians to our left and right, my general tells me they are strong opponents but we will see about that. For now we have made the open borders agreement so they can feast their eyes upon the glorious american lands.
We are finally able to quickly expand and have 5 cities, with 6 workers and a couple settlers more settlers in the process of getting chopped. Everything is going just as planned, all is well and peaceful. I will celebrate by taking a vacation to the hills and leave oh greatest military commander vanrober in charge for the weekend, I trust that he will make this nation proud.
Josh out.
