New Sequential Pitboss

How do I join Pitboss games? Is there any current one I can join? I'll probably lose but it would still be fun to try. I would like to sign up for the new sequential Pitboss if signups are still open.

Basically you post in a thread for a new pitboss (like this one here), that you would like to join. Just a warning, especially because this is sequential, that you need to be willing to play every day at approximately the same time range for a couple of months. If something comes up /  you have a vacation and you can't play its not a big deal we just ask that you do a quick post to let us know.

If you still want to join just post and since Amica has already volunteered to ded lurk seems like a match? I'll make sure you get a dedicated lurker in any case.

I invited another player from the live games civ discord (hey there sac!) , but they had trouble accessing the site, I’m posting this as a way of “saving the spot”. If we can’t solve the problem in a couple days then disregard this post, but otherwise PunMeister/Yarp should join this game soon.

Yes, I can walk him through some of the culture shocks in pitboss meta, it would be ideal though to get a site vet to help. (Also because I selfishly want to enjoy some global lurk voyeurism)

We were discussing CtH changes and trait evaluations and PRO came up: So I wanted to ask mapmaker-Commodore/player-specifications-consensus will the map have islands available and everyone starting on the same landmass?

I can't answer for Commodore, but usually players start on the same landmass. Islands are usually available too, with PB61 being the outlier in that regard. Most mapmakers try to ensure that players have some form of balanced access to islands as well.
