I very foolishly signed up to a dozen Dominions5 games, each of which is more time-intensive than a civ4 game.
So my turns have been shit and retarded, also I continue to realise what a total noob I am at civ4.

Hope to resume video updates intermittently from now on - but the story will be of a technologically speedbump, and which of its neighbours kills that speedbump.

I love that you do videos and if I liked my voice better I might do it that way as well.

Part of the reason I think you fall behind a lot is you don't like slavery very much. There is some wider debate as the game grows later on how much to whip, but I think there is consensus that early whipping is key to getting on the map. Generally you want to switch while the first settler is traveling, but I've been known to do at other times (ie settled city but improving food), depending on timings. AH openings sometimes it might be when second settler is traveling.
