Heh. Epic 5 is a great change of pace. More intense than the previous games.
I'd actually daresay it's the most exciting game I've played recently.

Without revealing anything, Epic Five will be a very memorable game for anyone playing it. I hope that everyone won't be so busy finishing Epic Four that it gets lost in the shuffle...

So no steam power means we'll never see Coal resource, no railroads, no factories, no Iron Works?

I know Steel allows railroads, but you need coal to build 'em and you only see coal when you research Steam Power.

So if we see any AI's with rails in their territory we must immediately declare war and fight to the death?

I think this actually may turn out to be hte case for alot of people, considering the very close closing dates for the 2 epics. Considering the magnitude of Epic 4, I think more people are going to be concentrating on that over this one.

For me personally, I would have preferred a 2 week break, im going to try to play it though. 3 opponents on tiny map shouldnt take too much time. Or would it... eek

Indeed I thought about skipping Epic Five in favor of finishing Epic Four, but after Blake's, yours and other's remarks about how exciting Epic Five is, I'm reconsidering...
