attacked because my land is le' shit and i had super random hopes of being able to do a conquest victory by stopping teching and just continuing to build units from here on out. Krill being Krill probably deduced exactly what i had and kept pace with me military wise, or i would have hit him. Commodore is basically unreachable as Krill has a city in the way, and Yuri was the only remaining target.

In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

Took Yuri's capital. Yuri looks to be reconnecting Copper, i dont think i can stop him from at least getting a round maybe 2 rounds of spears out. Sigh. Hoped it would be over quick, but im still back to the "when will this end".. Krill? Will he be the one to take me out or will it be Commodore. Everyone but myself got better land prospects than i did. Yuri had maybe on par, but that capital despite being a hilly mess, looks glorious. Everything ive looked at with Krill's land makes me think that Mackoti couldnt have rushed Krill successfully from here.
Now, do i think that rushing was the only option? No.
But it was the only option that i had the capacity to make potentially happen. Also, krill likely noticing and bumping his power in equal comparison with mine just irks me. People that spreadsheet and make civ just a literal numbers game where they know everything that people do make me never want to play vs them. Its unfun.

Er, didn't you literally successfully rush him the last time you played next to him?

Suggestion: Sit out a game then, and lurk threads instead. You don't have to play every game.

For any potential sub: Chariot moves towards capital, Keshik near my horses heals a turn, worker near capital either continues to cottage OR it moves into the capital if the barb spear goes to the sheep (highly likely) On the Yuri front, if he still has workers in front of my keshiks, please try and capture them. Stack keshiks if the workers arent next to his last city. Otherwise just one. heal keshiks inside of Yuri's copper city. Move keshiks that are full hp towards Yuri's last city, but stay 2 tiles out. Same goes for the keshiks making their way TO the front.
Thanks.

Turn 98 (425 BC)
Logged in to Krill offering a ceasefire, which I see no reason not to accept. Barb spear was camping the sheep as predicted, so moved the worker into Potato. Yuri has one worker in the last city, which is now defended by a spear and four archers, so I stack the two Keshiks on the ice hill. The barb spear is likely to suicide against the spear at the end of turn.
For the lurkers, here's an overview of the corelands:
All the cities have gers, and Potato has granary and library.

You know, I forgot to check, so I logged back in for a screenshot.
