I really do appreciate the desire to make sure every start is viable, but I can't think of any map where geography mattered more than neighbors.

I agree strongly with neighbors > all, and I was pretty sure you'd be fine with even the wildest of starts, but I was less confident that was true of some of your opponents. I was mostly just trying to spare everyone of the risk of an early rage quit or false start should the map RNG land poorly on someone who wasn't going to accept it.

Still about 50/50 that Krill ragequits in the first ten turns depending on his start.

I'm sorry but I will not play this map. I do not believe this is what was requested and I do not want to waste anyone elses time beyond this point, so either we use a new map (realistically on another map script and with more tightly defined instructions regarding capitals, or there is a sub for my start.

I get points too. I was trying to be vague and polite, but I was literally talking about Krill and only Krill.

What's making me crazy is that Krill's complaining with the ideal combo. Agg buffed vultures, Agg maintenance reduction, barracks culture, and cheap courthouses moved to the Writing main line. Sumer is absurdly buffed in this mod and Shaka's the perfect leader for it.

We have sixty turns to find a Krill replacement, then. Given the quality of this capital, that might be enough time for our second city by then.

Finally found more food, and it's a good one.

The hut had a map, and I'd frankly rather not have known. It's Krill, who in (checks)...55 turns...will be ragequitting. He's drive the weirdly buffed Agg Vultures, and so might just kill us outright before leaving. Oh boy.

...also despite his complaints, those six floodplains are more food than *everything* I've seen on my half so far.
