Two people appear to have founded techs from huts, while we haven't even found a hut. This game is rigged.
Over to comments which are actually fun!

I liked this sport since I read Asterix as a teen.
It's very different!! Did you even watch the video I posted? I will provide a better answer (perhaps with some descriptions that are actually helpful, even ) in the next few days when I have more time. Short version: Rugby Sux. And yes, good comic indeed.

nice villagers
actually I did watch parts of the videos but from a noob point of view, those games look kinda similar. But yeah, I remember that there is a rule in rugby that you may only pass backwards(?)
ANd Aussie Footbal seems to create less "piling up".
After watching a few more samples, I think both variants are more interesting than american footbal which has more breaks and stops than playtime. watched some low-level amateur matches during university, all three kind of sports have zero coverage in main media over here in germany.

First city planned for the plains hill in between pigs/copper (no good spots to share capital food). Micro done and city is ready to settle T39 (late, although another settler to be whipped around T45). Or at least, it was, until...

T40 - Luke McDonald
After a significant delay to both founding and tile improvements, as well as losing poor warrior number 1, we found our second city, named after famed North Melbourne co-captain Luke MacDonald.
We also met Tarkeel's scout to the south. Tarkeel/Civac are a hard team to rate, but I think Tarkeel is much better with a teammate, and their pick is one he will love. Probably a contender for the win.
Much like the city, Luke McDonald has had a rough time of it recently. He was not named by our own club in the top ten best players this year, and many players have been calling for him to be stripped of captaincy (reasonable), his playing position (harsh), and in extreme cases, his head. Luke McDonald plays a defensive role, and is generally responsible for two things: locking down an opposition forward, and beginning a rebound chain out of our defensive half following a turnover. His struggles have been in the latter area, as Luke McDonald's kicking skills have been woeful this year, often creating turn-turnovers himself. In fact, I googled it after writing this, and per disposal, he has actually created the most turnovers in the entire Australian Football League!
Not exactly inspiring from your co-captain. Now, McDonald was apparently chosen more for his off-field leadership (with co-captain, Jy Simpkin, being the 'on-field' leader), but this is still pretty grim, and on form alone McDonald was lucky not to be dropped in the second half of the year. McDonald impressed a lot as a junior - and was drafted under the AFL's 'father-son' rule, with dad Donald McDonald (yes really ) also historically being a North Melbourne great - and people are not really sure what this drop is form is caused by. He will need a massive 2024 to stay relevant in this team long-term, I suspect; being a great bloke only gets you so far.

Whoops. I haven't reported in a while, have I? I'll fix that when I get back. For now:
Instructions for T57
1. Switch Souvlarkey to a settler build.
2. Switch McDonald to a settler build.
3. Ensure Ford is working the corn + ivory.
4. If the barb warrior near McDonald walks onto the copper (or any non-forest flatland), kill it with the spear in McDonald. If it does something really funky, like move 2NE of McDonald, tail it with the spear. Basically, ensure the spear can whack it on T58, if T57 doesn't make sense.
5. Worker 'Kanga Kanga Kanga' finishes the mine 1N of Ford.
6. Worker 'Roo Roo Roo' puts ONE TURN into a cottage 1E of the copper (2E of McDonald).
7. Worker 'Cat' finishes the road 1SE of Souvlarkey.
That''s all, thank you and have a nice day. I will not have internet, so if you see a barb (or a barb player.. ) I trust your judgement (or in a serious emergency, we can pause).
