So it seems like this map is Pindicator's love letter to Creative, as not a single spot can get two food first ring except cow/sheep that orphans a clam
Oh well, Charismatic is also strong I guess.
Looks like we get two luxuries but tied to trade. Also with only two improvements Calendar is looking pretty lame

With our north being coastline this is largely safe backfill, (specific backfill dots are marked in white)

The south is probably where we meet someone, I imagine a midline at or just beyond that river or southern clam. There's two possible settling plans, pink or orange, defined by how we settle the fish and dry corn

Do you have a favourite for second city? Considered the cattle to the east on the same spot you marked (violet marker).

I like violet 2 but not violet 3, and I'm leaning Orange 1 > Violet 1 because why crush a forest (coast is cool I guess but unless GLH feels unworth)

Also of note, that dot marked NE has 17 food surplus before irrigation. It can run a whopping 8 specialists. idk how we'd even get the slots. Of course, it'd be nice to stack wonders there, but it has weak production. Moai could be a remedy but then you have coast vs specialist priority conflict, and I don't see stone yet so I'm discarding that possibility for now.

ofc the game I try to go no monarchy there's three wine tiles. Already we see some divergence from the sim, delaying size 3 a turn to work the cottage so we can get AH in time

Edit:
Hahaha I found the source of the divergence, the leader in the sim is Suryavarman, so we access the corn tile 2turns faster for 2c

I've neglected reporting. I used to report v frequently in my first pbs but now i view it as a bit of a chore, idk why. Hypocritical too bc I always wish people would report more when Im lurking.

Here's our capital

We got the second city working its first improved tile, with granary on the way.

I'm just dyeing to settle this...

Found but not contacted what appears to be Gav's Egyptian borders
This map is too big and as a result I doubt this game will actually end. I bet it collapses on disinterest (yes draws count as a collapsed and unfinished game)

I told Ginger on Saturday I would post an update to feed the lurkers. So barely a few days late I have one screenshot for you.

Apparently, Ginger made a second worker which cottaged the river tile east of the capital and then went to chop when BW came in (presumably turn 41). The other worker improved the cow near the second city and is now taming the horse. Ginger intended to do it the other way around but I screwed up the order when covering for him during the missed notification incident. Luckily, this way is better anyway. mischief

Thanks to CHA the capital can grow to size 6. There is a settler behind the warrior in the build list. Seems pretty straightforward. Slavery has been adopted already.

Where does the new settler go?

Debating whether to send it to south corn or west corn, probably west corn, not as good a city but faster to setup
