No, but that would be difficult seeing as I don't have a game box nor account yet. I probably can't even get logged on until sometime this coming weekend.

I hope everybody playing GW is having a good time with it.

1. I am having so much fun, I did not play at all this weekend. Life is a funny thing.
2. About the skill timers. As KoP points out, it is a very different context than D II's timers. I am guessing that you prefer more twitch challenge? I may be missing your point.
I have found, so far, that the skill timers induce me to keep employing a variety of skills, and change up during combat, far more than I ever did in DII. (Caveat: A Necromancer cannot waste a skill point. More hot Keys, even 16 was not enough! ) Granted, you can only pick 8 before you go out, but I find that between healing, or Mesmer Life Sucking, I get that skill going, the fight going, the combat skill going. I like the "do more than one thing at a time" feature.
YMMV.

After spending so much time in the desert of death, I've lost a bit of my interest in #5. I think the Hunter's Isle still holds my interest the most though, after having visited it. The fact that it's nighttime there and has some great ocean scenery in the dark is really a plus in my book. Would post a couple more flattering screenshots of it than the ones that are up, but I don't have anyplace to upload them.

Hehe, it's a funny place isn't it. Specially trying to activate the teleporters when you're out with a bunch of henchies. Their good part is that they port the cold, dead bodies of your brainless companions when you finally port. I didn't manage to find a passage to the Tomb of the Primeval Kings, and I couldn't complete the quests over there (although I was really close of figuring out a solo-route for one of them).
I've been really busy lately, so it's cut down on my playing time (to the point of none at all). Deadlines and all. I'll try to log in today and dump all my gold on you Soulie, I don't even remember how much I have but it's for a good cause

I haven't been on much as well, and probably will not be on much till about the second week of June. Busy time.

Heh, I know the feeling. No worries, I don't think we're in a rush

Um, in a word, No - I've decided I have a problem. Well, two problems. One is that I don't have that much gaming time any way. The other is that I'm a Questaholic - or maybe "yeswoman" would be a better descriptor. I just can't say "No, I have better things to do with my time" whenever one of the pity-deserving NPCs presents me with some sob story about needing to have some item of great sentimental value taken somewhere. So I'm still toodling around Old Ascalon - I've only done the first mission, haven't even bothered with the Fort Ranik mission yet - pathetic, I know.
I guest I will have to take the Soul Edge Express one of these days. Do we actually have the gold to buy the guild hall yet?

That's Walkiry Express , not Soul Edge's. Walkiry's the person one should talk to if s/he wants to get somewhere Real Fast.
The main problem with guild hall is getting the sigil, I don't know the cost for the guild hall itself. But I believe we probably can pool enough money to buy the guild hall when we do get the sigil.
Anyway, take your time to go through the game, I don't think we will be getting the sigil anytime soon without doing some serious PvP.

Prices are dropping!
News quote from AN today
Quote:In order to combat the rising cost of Celestial Sigils and thus allow more people to buy guild halls and experience the guild warfare aspect of the game, we will be substantially increasing the number of Celestial Sigils entering the economy. Starting with this week's update, whenever a team wins a game in the Hall of Heroes, that team will receive three Celestial Sigils instead of one. We will also be making improvements to the trader to allow his prices to more accurately reflect supply and demand within the game.
