[spoiler] Azza's 5 step program to flawless victory

Eastern tundra. Early settling proposal from Catwalk permits the city locations I've signed.

I've just realised the 2 civs that start with Mysticism have creative leaders. Since Archduke has founded both religions so far, I could be better placed to land Henge than I would normally think.

Also, going to use most of my forests to chop out the Mids, or so the plan goes.

Seems like Archduke built Stonehenge?! Must be for the Prophet points...

Researched Writing, back to 0% science. Probably going Maths -> Currency next, and hopefully getting CoL with the Oracle.

Also, settling plan changed to 1SW of the copper. But this might change again later on a whim.

Settled the city of Poisson 1S of the copper because Normal doesn't need the wet corn at the moment.

Need more workers and some War Chariots for self-defence/exploration after the Oracle finishes.

Hopefully, no one completes Oracle before my next turn. Planning to take CoL from it.

Also, I believe the current city counts are
Catwalk - 5
Azza - 4
Waterbat - 3
Superjm - 3
Archduke - 2

So expansion is going fairly well.

Turn 50 Report.

2) Overview map of explored lands

Far East (Catwalk)

North West (Archduke) and West (Waterbat)

I believe Superjm is to my south east, and Xenon is directly North/South of me, but need further exploration to determine that.

3) Demographics
[Image: Ddmq1.jpg]

Looking pretty good for now. Need a few more WC's to boost my power rating I think though.

4) Your thoughts on the standings of all players

There's probably 3 civs in strong positions. Myself, Catwalk and Waterbat. Catwalk has definitely REX'd the best, I've got the best GNP and landed Oracle, and Waterbat landed the Pyramids without sacrificing too much expansion.
Archduke was very slow to expand, so I think he'll be struggling. Xenon I haven't met, so I don't know how many cities he has, but his score suggests he hasn't started strongly, and his traits suggest he'll have great difficulty catching up. Superjm is a bit of an enigma. Has been expanding reasonably well, but not as well as Catwalk, and he hasn't snagged a wonder either.

Current guess on long term rankings (excluding myself);
Catwalk
Waterbat
Superjm
Xenon
Archduke

5) Your short-term and long-term plans

Short term, REX REX REX. Pump out WC's, workers and settlers and fill my chunk of land. Maybe use my 3 remaining forests in the capital to make a play at The Great Lighthouse. Explore the northern sea, find out if the dyes are on their own island (and if so, try to claim asap).

Medium term, secure Marble, build Shwedagon Paya and at least one of MoM/Great Library (probably MoM). Key techs are Civil Service, Calendar, Machinery, Engineering Nationalism.

Long term, try to avoid picking fights and putting a target on my back. Only enter into a war if it'll become 2v1. Build a strong economy, don't throw it away doing something stupid. Probably try and take advantage of Archduke and Xenon, who seem to have fallen behind already.

Demos shot.

Looking very good, that GNP figure is at 30% research to 2 turn Hunting (when I need it) while still accumulating gold for my splurge on Currency. Food and Production are going along nicely, and I also enjoy my Approval Rate, suggesting that I have more room to grow than my rivals. Combining those suggests I'm in quite a good position.

But, land area I'm supposedly 5th. Victory conditions says I have the most land. Can someone explain the discrepancy to me?

Definitely a production city that one.
