Bob walked away:
And there was much rejoicing:
I plan to give the Rice back to Kuanghai next turn; I hope to grow and whip Kuanghai mercilessly at Ximen's expense. Neither Bob nor Sian have second cities yet.

The current itineration of The Plan:
The growths work out very nicely, with Kuanghai stealing back the Rice exactly when Ximen doesn't need it.
The Worker micro... not so much. Roading the Gold before stepping off of it would require me to work an unimproved Horse for an extra turn in Ximen. I would love to chop Kuanghai's Forest (plan has it prechopped at 2/3) to speed up the Settler to complete T32... but then I don't have enough Worker turns to road to Yuedao, and the city is still settled T34. And I still run into the problem of not roading my Horses.

New plan:
Chop the forest into the Warrior. This still speeds up the Settler by a turn, and since I was planning on overflowing into Warriors anyway, getting the Warrior sooner is superior. Especially with Bob's Warrior still poking around my backlines.
I forgot to mention, Sian settled his second city T26. Sian and I are the only ones with second cities - the Top 5 Cities screen shows 16 pop points and the UN Resolutions screen shows 18 worldwide.

One more time, one more time, let's try this one more time...
My fault for not thinking that Bob might try to renew the choke and keeping him shadowed. Now to dig up Sareln's combat calculator...
Third warrior completes in two turns:
In other news, I whacked a Lion by Sian, which was probably a mistake, since my Warrior's down to 0.2/2 and there's no cover in a million miles.

...and of course, Sareln's calculator doesn't work on LibreOffice. Cyneheard's calculator gives the average strength after the first warrior to be ~1.5/2, meaning two Warriors won't be enough to dislodge Bob's warrior. Looks like it'll take three or four warriors to dislodge him. Or a Chariot; I'm definitely going to hook up my Horses before Gold.
I think I can pull off defending Worker A and the Sheep at the same time. T32 I'm going to move my stack 1SE and start roading; if Bob heads moves off the hill, I finish the road and my Warriors can catch up to him.

Bob fortified, as expected. I don't expect him to move off the hill; we both know he's dead once he does.
Someone, probably Jowy since his score shot up, built Stonehenge.
I'm one beaker short of Polytheism; I should have worked a blank riverside grassland at Ximen back when I didn't have any food tikes to work. I'm still betting there won't be any competition, though.

Yuedao (I'm just going to make that the official name, it has a nice ring to it) will still be settled T34:
T33, I move the Settler onto the Warrior stack. T34, I move two Warriors into Yuedao and the Worker onto the Copper. Another Warrior completes in Kuanghai T34, so I'll still have two Warriors to hit Bob in case he walks off the hill.
The absurdity of settling a city right next to an enemy unit is not lost on me.
Hinduism was founded EOT without incident. Bob founded his second city.
Sandboxed combat test, three Warriors beat Bob's Warrior 14/20 times.
And wow, talk about a break of stupid luck. I chopped the forest 2E of Kuanghai because I made a mistake and went Fishing before The Wheel, and now the lack of forest there means that Bob can't sneak off towards my Sheep.

I suicided into Bob's Warrior, losing 2 Warriors. I then offered peace.
Yuedao was settled, and I got a lucky free Hindu spread EOT.
I'm falling behind in the micro, and it's only going to get worse this week - as of right now, I'm planning on going Work Boat-Work Boat in Yuedao to prep for the fourth city, which to make the timing work should be settled T44/45. Slow-build a Worker in Ximen, and try to figure out if there's enough happiness/time to squeeze in a Granary in Kuanghai before the Settler whip.
Tech... I'm not sure. Gold plus large-ish map equals fast research speeds. Standard stupid Writing?

...nearly drowned in work there. Now to find time to sleep...
Bob accepted peace, as expected. More crucially, I figured out my plan:
(Xincheng's just a placeholder, it literally means 'new city.')
Slow-build the Settler in Ximen, whip a Worker and overflow into a Granary in Kuanghai, and make Yuedao build the new city's Work Boat. Swap Yuedao to a lake for a second to get an extra food to reach Size 2 a turn sooner. The new city will have its Granary completed two turns after it's settled.
The trade off is in military and commerce; by at least T44 I will have neither Chariots nor Cottages. Commerce I'm not worried about. The Gold is supercharging my research - I'm running a profit at 80%. Military I am worried about... on the other hand, my 4 Warriors are the most powerful army in the world.
The fifth city will be the island one:
Writing first to get OB with Sian and see who's on the other side of his borders. In the hopes of getting trade routes with him, I'm currently sending a Warrior to defog the coast. After Sailing will probably come Monotheism to pop the island city's borders.
