I'm in an updatey mood of late.
So, bastard plan.
Axe with attached GG, CRIII, and one spare promotion. Researching Sailing (5 turns at breakeven, that's how woeful my techrate is). Nothing At All whips galley. Troubleshooter gets slapped out of the blue, axe army advances on Red.
Will it work? Well, if power levels stay like this, I'd say so.
Unfortunately, my research speed is an issue, as is this.
But hey, it's nice to at least attack your enemies in theory, even if you never actually do it.
In other happenings, lets compare FinHarry's Aztecs to my Arabs.
Well, fuck. If they're smart, which they probably are, they'll target knights before long and roll through my criminally underdeveloped shithole of an empire while I'm busy screwing with Mardoc. But that's a problem for another day. They offered open borders this turn so I'm hoping their intentions are peaceful a little while longer.
Dhalphir on the other hand, well he's not doing so great.
No idea if he's been fucked by war, or been fucked by aggressively expanding neighbours, or even just fucked by incompetence, but either way, he's smaller than me somehow, so he's definitely fucked one way or another. We've got a clam for clam trade going on, a sign of solidarity for two empires doomed as all hell. I hope for his sake his research isn't as horrifically awful as mine.
And finally, the mortal enemy, Mardoc/Brick.
If I can count, only 1 more city than me at this stage, so in theory he shouldn't be able to outproduce me in preparation for any upcoming conflict. Of course, he doesn't necessarily need to outproduce me to win a war, he has both construction and hbr, and I definitely don't have construction for a while yet (woo 24btp at breakeven). I can't remember if I have hbr, but I don't have archery anyway so i cant build HAs anyway...
But yeah, that's the happs in Arabia, which I really should get around to renaming to Springfield at some point instead of being irrelevant to my city theme. Time to try something different and launch an all out offensive for once.
