[Spoilers] The Network assimilates ipecac, Ruff_Hi & Dreylin (Monty of Vikings)

Yeah, other synergistic options would be EXP for cheap WB & Workers and ORG for cheap Trading Posts.

That could be a good pick given that it is MP & Barracks give you culture in this mod (IIRC).
AGG also gives (multiplicative) -25% city maintenance nod.

So we're set on Monty if he's available?

Excellent! We should use that when (if) we pick him as our leader. I volunteer to be the war monger. I will want every city to be full of hammers with enough food to create units via the whip. I expect that you'll have to talk me into any science cities.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

In other news I'm preparing pre-game rankings; I'll post it when all the picks are done. mischief

Without further ado, I present ipecac's Rankings*:

From worst to best:

7. Elum/mackoti

Elum is pretty bad. Paired with mackoti - the worst in RB, this team is sunk. alright

6. Agent427/The Black Sword

Agent427 and mackoti 2.0 are a little better than their counterparts, but they're just not good enough to take them past second last. shakehead

5. Dreylin/ipecac/Ruff_Hi

Numbers are usually an advantage, but in this case they'll be the only thing keeping this team ahead of the previous team. nono

4. Caledorn/Plako

Both are below average, but in this field that's enough to give them middle position. nod

3. AdrienIer/Old Harry
Old Harry has performed rather well in previous games, but it remains to be seen if he can do well without his partner Fintourist. That said, AdrienIer is pretty decent and they should do well. goodjob

2. Grimace/Wetbandit
Both are individually at least Tier 3, and should do excellently as a team. I expect them to show greater synergy than AdrienIer/Old Harry, hence second place. whip

1. Whosit/Gavagai
Two of the best players in this pitboss, and really, this whole should be greater than the sum of its parts. hammer

Did I tell everyone about the fun that I am having planning a wired home network? Or the thrill of getting a Ceton WMC extender and trying to get it to work?
