Terrain to the north is pretty rough. Exploration will be slow.

I'm behind on my reporting again. Turn 27 - tantalizingly close to a north-south connection, but there's an elephant in the way:

Two elephants, but they were kind enough to move out of my way, and:




I deleted the skeleton after that screenshot, and his successor is unearthed.




It would have been smart to do the long move first...

We're up to turn 31 now, and my skeleton is wending his way eastward.

Hill giant.




In that last screenshot, there are two barb warriors and two goblins. I'm obviously way behind on city building. Time to call my skeleton back home for defense.

Turn 36. The goblin moved onto my corn farm, and I lost a warrior attacking him at 90% odds.




Now I'm short a warrior. Annoying.

Last exploration move for my skeleton:




I deleted him after that, and re-summoned him at the capital.

Two turns later. The skeleton won a flawless victory against a warrior on the cotton plantation, took a shock promotion and was damaged to about half strength against another barb warrior. Deleted and resummoned.
