Civ 6 - Number for growth / border expansion

I probably will combine it for my own use with the improved city panel mod, which I use already and took some information from to get mine working (I have no clue about lua programming). Though I don't know if I get permission by the modder to use his code in order to distribute it to others. The QUI one should be easier, as the modder seems very open to collaboration.

(Though in both cases it would probably be better for them to incorporate something similar to my solution - but better looking - instead the other way round.)

I'm planning on trying to start up a UI/balance mod to try and combine a lot of these complaints, to have as a base for a balance mod later on. For now though I'm kinda waiting for the modding tools to come out and see how much they will help with the process.

For those not wanting to wait till I learn how to put the changes in a mod-file and make it look pretty, here is a mod that does the same thing, just by adding a label instead

Wait, they just COPIED Civ5's growth cost formula?

...Why?!!!

That formula existed for the SOLE purpose of preventing cities from getting too large too fast. We already have Housing limits. Are they really trying to promote ICS that much?

I'm betting on "It worked fine last time, right?"

Also, the more I think about it, the more the current implementation of luxuries feels like it just gives +4 global happy cap if you get above 4 cities, which you should.

Note: I basically didn't play Civ 5.
