Did you decide whether food resource base is 1+1Food or just 1? Same for Science?

Same again, though at least you could make a choice.  And already we're seeing the effect of the changed growth curve, as you can't grow right away.

Let's make it 1+1 (for both) for now, especially since improvements are much harder--I still don't think it'll be a choice in most cases (though post irrigation it makes it better to improve a non-resource tile than a resource one--is that bad? tongue )

Main thing from that is that you don't have to move your whole stack when you attack if you don't want to.

I was having a hard time remembering the next growth cost factoring in the Aqueduct / Tier3, so I added a table to the game spreadsheet. Scroll right. You can move it somewhere else on the sheet if you prefer a different location.

(though seriously, I'm saving actions compared to you, just matched you in total yields, and have Aquaduct (where you only have Chariots), so I think I'm ahead as of this moment--it's just that you have the center tile, and it's so hard to reinforce it)

I don't think it will end in stalemate, maybe the middle tile swap owners a couple times but I think one of us will be able to break through ... and I 'm optimistic about my chances wink had to think hard about this turn. I really want to improve my tiles, but with it costing permanent actions now it hurts me militarily to improve because I need the extra moves on future turns to protect the center.
