Damn it, wetbandit.
There is such a thing as an over-promoted Keshik.

either AGG/IMp, chop out a bunch of settlers in farmer's gambit style and obnoxiously settle, guarding with a bunch of impis and chariots.
or AGG/IND and chop Oracle, bulb aesthetics, grab-deny SoZ

Why I wanted Boudicca so much: cheap barracks + colossums = 4 exp, +4 more from Vassalage and Theocracy and every city can whip out level 3 units.
Wetbandit delanda est.

Fitting then that you chose a Mongol for the job. Serves him right for not taking the opportunity to stay historically accurate, right? RIGHT!?
Genghis should still be fun for you.
Good luck, and please keep up the frequent posting.

Thanks!
For micro, I need to redo it since I have IMP now. 2nd ring pigs means that the initial worker doesn't hook them up that fast, but also that there's plenty of spots to share a pig with the second city. Likely there will be a instant trade connection by river too. 8 forests, good stuff for IMP.
My rough plan when I picked Genghis was to grow to size 4, then whip 1 pop + chop 1 forest into worker, then overflow and whip a settler, which should come out ~t30. I could go settler before first worker as city #2 will most likely share pigs, it really depends on the surroundings.

Scouting plan: scout fully all potential BFCs of second city that share a pig. Then head off in a direction (to be determined) to find a Impi rush target.

The choice between AGG/IMP and AGG/IND was settled by map size. 64x40 for 8 players is 320 tiles per player. Minus 40 to 60% of sea tiles, and it's likely to be a cramped map.
AGG/IMP of Zulu would shine in such a situation: IMP spams out settlers, Impis (with chariots) defend what would otherwise be over-extensions, and AGG Ikhandas keeps costs down so the economy doesn't crash.

Will the game ever start?
How many players will tilt over scouting impis?
Will wetbandit wreck everyone with stacks of level 5 knigs?
