Codenames 23

I've played Codenames enough, both in person and online, that I've seen some of the words repeat quite a few times so a new set is worthwhile. Particularly the geographic places - New York, London, Tokyo, Africa, Australia, Antarctica, Germany, England, Loch Ness - come up repeatedly with similar clues.

Of course both sets can be mixed. I could even go further and suggest something like a 2:1 or 3:2 weighting in favor of the Duet words, to lean towards fresh choices but still include everything, if Pindicator is interested and willing to try that.

Alright, we've had plenty of time for objections to the new word set and none have occurred so the new word set it is. We also have Azoth and DaveV as confirmed spymasters.

As we are in the middle of Thanksgiving weekend, there is no rush to generate the board pindicator. Post it if you can, but I won't officially request it until it's over. By then we can hopefully get this game rolling.

Round 1 board

Based off of people willing to use the new words and the suggestion to use a mix, I ended up creating the boards for this game using roughly 1/3 words from Undercover and 2/3 from the base game.  Rounding liberally, this makes 9 words from Undercover and 16 from the base game.

Codenames Undercover? That's the, uh, R-rated version, that must have supplied the likes of Lingerie, Douche, Tramp. I was talking about Codenames Duet, which has the same all-audiences gearing for general interest, just a new list of words...

You hold a Lifeboat DRILL so you're ready when your ship SINKS into the WATER.

Secondary possibilities:
BAY is where you want to get your Lifeboat.
You want your lifeboat when your ship's been in a CRASH
Typically on ships there are SIGNs to direct you to lifeboats.
You BOARD a lifeboat to use it
While waiting on a lifeboat you may FISH to eke out your rations.

Kinda depressing how many connections I can make. I think of my secondaries I like BOARD the best, then CRASH, but I would still go for DRILL SINK WATER first, unless my teammates disagree.
