I'm working long days in the US Central time zone. Bob and Dreylin pushed the turn through last night   . Tomorrow will probably be going out about the same time, and Friday will most likely be even later.

When it rains... my late hours are about to get worse too, as I'm flying to NYC to work through this weekend.    will do my best to get the save out as it comes around.  thanks everyone for still pushing it around.

I guess we never settled the diplo mode for this game. With one unnamed exception, all my contacts are acting as though it's AI diplo. If it comes to a vote, I'd vote for AI diplo, since that's been the mode in the games I've enjoyed the most.

I strongly prefer being able to communicate in some form. My assumption earlier was that I was outvoted.

I don't care enough to vote against diplomacy, nor to participate much in it.

I went back and counted the earlier votes/thoughts:

Ellimist: Prefer diplomacy (1-message per turn).
Auro: Prefer AI diplo but can live with 1-message per turn.
Dave: Prefer AI diplo but can live with 1-message per turn.
TBS: I don't mind either way.
Bob: I don't mind either way.
Dreylin: Prefer AI diplo but can live with 1-message per turn.
Q: Prefer AI diplo but can live with 1-message per turn.
jale: "Won't have much time for diplo, but can live with being the silent type." <- I think this meant I don't mind either way.

So it was AI diplo / don't care / 1 message/turn = 4 / 3 / 1. To be honest, I've assumed AI diplo all game.

In the past, the game originator has been the one to establish the settings for the game. Since people are obviously operating under different assumptions, I'll ask Aurorarcher to clarify: is it an AI diplo game?

Shame I never gave the final word (votes) for diplo earlier. Sorry for being unclear and also for any inconvenience it may have caused.

I had it 100% in my head that this was one message per turn, though I've only had any interest in doing so a few times in the game. I'll stop now.


Also, still not getting any emails from messages here. If there's anything that directly concerns me or is important generally (e.g. this discussion, but not say one person telling us he'll be away for a while), I'd really appreciate an email. I don't check this site daily anymore (at least, when mafia's not running), and discord can be unreliable.
