EDIT: Sorry, that doesn't add up. I should have said 31 gold after music, since 39+31 = 70 70g is a bit more than I'd hoped, but it's probably worth it to guarantee getting to the free Artist.

Since you don't want a NAP with your west, consider the power of a great artist leveraged attack with two-move units. If the tiles work out, it's pretty darn powerful.

t69 - Deal with sooooo goes through, oooooo, and Ruff's Spices come in.
Anarchy mean that no builds complete, but added happiness from HR & Spices is very welcome in Ankara.
Looking at tech; I need one more turn at 0% science to accumulate enough for a 5t run at Music at -24g/t.
No builds complete of course because of the Anarchy, but lots of Worker actions:
Tim finished Bursa's connection, so starts Pasturising the Horses.
Daisy completed the chop at Edirne and now moves to pre-connect Sugar-dot.
Mike completes a chop/mine at Istanbul - Library now in 2t.
Brian finished Samsun's connection, and with religion spread can start to chop the Jungle off the Pigs.
Marcia will finish a foret chop at Ankara next turn.
Twist (finally) starts on Konya's road connection.
I notice that I am 1 trade-route short, so am getting a domestic in Samsun - hence Religion Spread, I guess. Next turn with Konya connected may give Bursa a chance to pick up a spread as well.
I have decided to send Edirne's imminent Settler down to Sugar Dot. I don't have a lot of spare military at the moment nor have I the infrastructure in place to go for any of Stone, SE, or Back Country dots; and the extra Sugar happy will be useful.

Thanks very much! That makes it much easier to follow along - especially since we don't have to go searching for the latest version buried deep in the thread! Speaking of which: Congratulations on crossing the 300 Post mark! We all know that's the real mark of who's winning....

Chatting with Ruff yesterday and today; he's concerned that he's been unable to line up any trades for Theology and is starting to see us vs. them conspiracies. Personally, I think he just picked a tech with limited trade value....
