[SPOILER] On This Day

Physics in 3. Holding off on gold rushing till then.

Overview.

SD fleets are on the move on my borders. It is worrying and I'm adding some defense to the coastal cities, but he did double move so we should be good.

His fleets are situated so they threaten 5 cities. Though I could kill one of his stacks. But if either of us attacks the other, that effectively ends the game.

I think SD is def someone who will attack for fun without much care, but I don't want to fulfill that prophecy myself by attacking first.

What sort of trade could you expect to get from attacking?

If you want to check, our fleet and one of his fleets is around our islands. I think we could wipe that one out, but I have not vodka'd it. His other fleet is SW.

E: Or they might have moved, looks like SD played already. Another double turn by him. Maybe I'm being paranoid, but if you give a big enough chance for someone to backstab you, they might just take it.

It looks like he's uniting the two fleets. Maybe we can attack Tarkeel by sea together smile

We got Physics, but I think someone beat us to it. I'll need to check again next turn, just now realized I didn't cycle into a great scientist during the turn.

So how do we use these Airships? I do not know how air combat works.

From my noob understanding / experience in PB52 they basically do a percent and they have a max damage they can deal (believe it is 20%). I believe they can also bombard city defense?

Thanks. Not super helpful in land war, but we could use them to bombard island and coastal cities before attacking. Maybe it is best to aim for more naval tech next.
Attacking by land just doesn't seem feasible. We can only really win fights if he comes into our lands.

Let's give it a shot. Could have used a longer warning but oh well.

And yeah to confirm, Tarkeel got Physics on the same turn as us and got the Great Scientist :<

It's over, we got no shot.

He has Destroyers. We are 10 turns away from just unlocking them. He also has infantry, making it hard to take cities with rifles and grenadiers.
And he has airships so we can't surprise him even if we kill off the scouting caravels once the war starts.

On top of that, I'm the only one keeping up in power with him. Cairo and SD have fallen off and stagnated.

Overview. On the brighter side, gold rushing is amazing. I love it.

I think it's too late to stop Tarkeel, we had to come together earlier (and Cairo still hasn't).
I'll accept concession to Tarkeel if SD and Cairo want the game to end.
