200
Here's what we've managed to accomplish in 200 turns: More thoughts later, but I wanted to post that.

Nice, everything's out of revolt. Where to next?

Well, defenses are one reason I just wanted to take the old Superdeath lands and not push more into Bing proper. It's a long southern border, but at the same time it is only 3 points of land bridges to defend: the Far West at New Eridu, the center in the Mediolanum - Care Bears - Rome area, and the hilly connection to the core between Ninja Turtles and My Little Pony. If I can control the seas then the defense of those 3 points becomes a lot easier, which is why Astronomy has been on my mind for so long. Second, I've had a long and productive alliance with Commodore and I'm relatively confident that can continue - but only if I can keep giving Commodore avenues of expansion other than through me ... which is another reason to let him conquer the rest of Bing. If Commodore feels we are working well together then he's less likely to go through me and more likely to gang up on a Magic Science next. (Not sure this would work for everyone, but I feel relatively good about Commodore.)
Still, I'm going to look at invading Bing a bit more in the turns to come. I'm not sure if I just raze cities or if I take, but I probably raze. One, to show Commodore I'm trying to help and two, because Commodore absolutely smashed Bing's army last turn and by what I can see Bing just doesn't have anything left now. I'm getting EP vision on Bing, so I can see that he hardly has anything left. With this in mind, I've loaded my galleys and moved them away from the triremes. My next round of caravels are a few turns away still, but I'm going to either raze New Uungi or perhaps even capture it. I don't quite have the forces here to go after the capital, but I could also commit the 20 knights and 10 catapults in New Eridu to move south and raze Kaee-something. That would put the northern highland area of Bingland under my control but it might be something that Commodore regrets. So perhaps I should just raze cities there. (Also, that Iron south of New Eridu is somehow orphaned and I am appalled at this.)

Some "Big Picture" thoughts for t200...
First, Graphs: We've managed to climb into the lead in Food and MFG with the conquests of Superdeath Valley coming out of revolt, and should continue to gain ground there as the new cities are able to grow. While these are very fertile and flat lands, I think I want to encourage growth and farms in a good number of them to prepare for the upcoming drafting of riflemen. Size 7 cities will be the need, and then getting a city to 16 food/turn so I can draft a rifle there every other turn - or at least to rotate through them as I get more cities. But a lot of the core is not going to be able to drafted frequently due to how rough food is there. So I see Superdeath Valley being prime drafting grounds for the wars to come. As for technology needed, we are about 6 or 7 turns away from Rifling right now. After that it is either going straight for Nationalism and firing off the golden age, or we deviate towards Education, Economics, and Liberalism. But probably the golden age, there's too much good stuff up there: Nationalism for Drafting, Representation for a huge boost to science with all my specialists, going on to Democracy to further that boost, going for Cavalry with Military Tradition. I think that has to be the line. Poor Astronomy, you are so useful and yet when will I ever get to you? Technology Comparison*: Naufrager - 27,145 beakers Up: Divine Right, Theology, Chemistry, Nationalism, Military Tradition Down: Alphabet, Compass, Banking, Optics, Paper, Printing Press, Replaceable Parts Pindicator - 25,126 beakers Magic Science - 18,550 beakers Up: Chemistry Down: Alphabet, Calendar, Compass, Music, Optics, Paper, Printing Press, Replaceable Parts Commodore - 16,008 beakers Up: Chemistry Down: Aesthetics, Compass, Drama, Literature, Banking, Civil Service, Music, Optics, Paper, Printing Press, Replaceable Parts Bing - 14,289 beakers Up: Down: Alphabet, Drama, Banking, Civil Service, Music, Optics, Paper, Printing Press, Replaceable Parts *Assuming I haven't made any errors I believe that the field is headed down the bottom half of the tree: Steel, Military Science, and then probably on to Railroads (eventually). So I need to have a plan to take on Cannons, which is another reason to fire the golden age off after Rifling. Getting Cavalry online around when they have Cannons in the field and I feel like I would have a fairly strong lead on things. Perhaps even a strong enough lead to attack Magic Science. Commodore's UU rather scares me, so I'd rather avoid that fight.

What are the future plans for conflict?
Erebus in the Balance - a FFH Modmod based around balancing and polishing FFH for streamlined competitive play.
Magic Science, I think. But really I want to just sit back and get Superdeath Valley built up.
Commodore would be a natural conquest, except for the fact that this would be such a horrible decision. I've had a good border with him all game, I'm winning the culture battle and the terrain between us is awful, we're right in the prime of his UU, and his GNP is so horrible that even now he is still neck-and-neck with Bing; I don't see how he keeps up longterm. So no, I will go out of my way to give Commodore what he wants because I know I can scale better, and that just leaves Magic Science. As for how I attack MS, there are two ways to do it: either by sea with galleons and just burn what I can't keep, or I move everything to the far west and try to continue pushing until I've wrapped around the globe.
