@ Woden
Try to make landfall supported by my fleet at Zitronenhain and advance slowly. Check the milpower, Singaboy is stronger then he appears.
@ Oledavy
Back into "Oh my god we are all going to die to TheArchduke" mode?
How about bringing your whole fleet next time instead of trying to conquer Spain, Jerusalem, Norway and England at the SAME time with VA?
Even Singaboy should rather help us stop you but I guess he is once again bitter about me, alas.
@ Jesterfool
Sit tight, not all is lost, at least on the english front, Oledavy´s advance has been checked. Until another 12-14 subs come, I guess.

Until another 12-14 subs come, I guess I mean, I never really left that mode I think the fact that you're seemingly effortlessly holding off a fleet that outnumbered you 2v1 indicates the threat you pose (not to mention you still have more cities and population than me).
For the record, most of Task Force #1 and #2's ships were produced too late to make it in time for the Battle of the North Sea, but mistakes were made nonetheless. I'll be writing them up tomorrow in my thread and you can read over them after the game. Sincerely though, well-played battle. I always enjoy my fights with you, and getting to fight a large scale naval battle was exhilarating - even if double-GA'd ironclads made me want to pull my hair out.
No though, before Woden spoils my surprise, you don't think that's my only fleet now do you?
Hope you're close to Electricity

@Singaboy.
I don't know what things will look like on your turn, but if you don't have a good attack option and can safely withdraw, go ahead and do so. We may not be able to penetrate north of the strait, but we can protect your western cities.

@Archduke and Woden
both of you are trumpeting around that the real threat is oledavy and that in fact, I should join both of you. Fair enough, but what on earth are your real actions? You both are threatening Germany and nothing else but Germany. So, you both really expect me to join your fight when in fact you attack me and my cities? Does that make sense to you?
@Woden, if you would think a little about your own situation, you should prepare yourself for other things than trying to take out one or two German cities. Am I such a threat to you? You essentially made sure, with your attempt to land and take out my cities, that I will not side you again ever in this game. Did we have any issues during the game that warrant your aggression? Have I attacked you before? You ought to understand the metagame here. I will be when you go down in flames later on. And I can tell you, I won't come to your rescue.
@Archduke. How about focusing your energy on your real foe? Do you seriously think, you can beat Germany in any reasonable time to ensure victory? I am glad to see more English cities being torched in the meantime.
@oledavy, unfortunately, my navy is enjoying no bonuses to fight the double Admiral boosted navy and hence, my effort was not enough to take out even a single ironclad. I will check the situation before deciding whether to withdraw. Thanks for the intel and I do hope we get the upper hand in the sea battles soon. I can't wait to see you start to fight Woden. Send them Germany's regards when you torch their cities

Update:
@oledavy
I did not withdraw from the battlefield. Instead I sank a frigate and wounded another. Archduke now has 2 frigates (1 wounded), a frigate fleet and a lvl 2 ironclad left. You have a single frigate there which might be able to sink the wounded frigate with a miracle shot (doubtful). It would be good to attack there and stay so as to support my frigates in numbers, otherwise we get sunk all together. You need to send in reinforcements and together with my navy, we can make sure, Archduke can't advance on German cities.

@Singaboy,
Get off your high horse, you declared on me! I did try to start a dialog with you but you chose sides. I agree that this conflict between you, me, and TheArchduke only benefits oledavy. We all are going all out fighting each other while he half-asses it, builds more ships, fights 3 wars, and builds wonders. Oledavy will come and smoke me when he can and I don't expect your help. He will do the same to you and even if he doesn't, if nothing is done soon he will have this game sewn up. He will just raze our coastal cities and tech ahead to victory while we are trapped on our islands.
@TheArchduke
Oledavy now has 8 subs; 4 at his mainland and 4 down by Spain. After you sink the ships by you, the next closet ones are by the Spanish shore but he probably will send them your way on his turn.

You are not serious, are you? Archduke claimed he is not interested in a war against oledavy and myself and then proceeded to take Zitronenhain yet again. He did what I expected him to do. Sign a peace treaty and then start to attempt to take out Germany 10 turns later.
You expect me not to turn to someone else to help? You then signed a DoF with Archduke, effectively making sure, I can't expect any help or support from you.
Then, Archduke asked you to help out by attacking me and you started to send a force toward Germany with a clear intention to invade. Just because I declared war a turn before your invasion in order to take out a potential threatening unit, doesn't make me the aggressor. That's just outright ridiculous and you know it.
There was an alternative pathway supported by action and that would have been for Archduke to send his navy west (or east) toward Spain or Japan to signal to me that he is in fact attacking oledavy and not me. You could have made it clear that you are not interested in Germany as well.
The way I see it is simple, both of you can't deal with oledavy and chose to pick the German battle theatre as the place where the game is being decided. And then blame me for not seeing who is the real foe. I am not naive to not know I stand no chance against oledavy. The alternative would have been obliteration by Archduke. Hence, I picked my side as Archduke was the one who invaded Germany the first time brutally. I am not sure where the high horse comment comes from but I can tell you, I can fight a defensive land war (just ask oledavy and Archduke), so you better be on top of your game if you want to invade my land.

As an aside from all the rhetoric and BS in this thread, I am looking forward to a land war with you to see where I need to improve. You are one tough nut to crack and I totally expect to get torched. Good luck!

@Woden + Archduke
nothing personal...this open diplomacy is toxic and I think we all know now that this is not really helpful. It's a game only, so we should all drink a beer together and have fun.
Looking forward to the land war. It's your first offensive land war against a human, I assume. Good luck!

I mean, you do realize I just lost 15 ships and and suffering from a ridiculous amount of war weariness as a result, right? If that's not full-assing it I don't know what is
Also, riddle me this carnival man, what happens when Archduke gets his 5th GA and has 75 strength ironclads? I'm guessing with your lack of coastal cities and harbors, you are not going to be able to produce more MG's than he can produce cheap 380 ironclads to fight you. Have you checked his pop/city count compared to you or me recently? What happens when you're the only two left?
I'm not saying side with me and Singaboy, but you may want to be careful whose company you keep. There can only be one winner at the end of the day, and a close partnership with theArchduke isn't going to end well for you. Unless you're openly not playing to win.
