I might need a small extension, 4-5 hours. Or maybe I will make it in time.
(Sorry, right now our game speed is a bit too much for me)

Gave GT some extra time just in case.

Thank you for the extension.
Unfortunately, I need more time as for some reason, my laptop won't work to login into PB (As this is my only PB game at the moment, I can't confirm if it would be for other PBs/Mods, too)
Internet does work, but was acting up earlier today (which is why I was late, anyway)
So I'm not sure it's the provider playing around some weird port blocking or what, but I seem to not get into the game (I know that PB spy shows I'm logging in, but the screen stays at the main menu background)
Anyway, I'll be passing by office tomorrow, and if I can't get my turn in from home, will be able to play from there on Sunday.
Unfortunately, that means I need 17 hours more. Hopefully I'll be able to login sooner, but that's the time I'd need if I can't login before I'll drop by the office..
Sorry about the whole thing, usually I'd just let a turn pass in such a case, but as you all probably have noticed ingame, I really need to play that turn..

You could try using your phone as a hotspot. Luckily civ doesn't require that much of an internet connection.

I had a similar issue with PB74 yesterday, but it worked 15 minutes later. I guess you've tried a few times though.

Yeah, I tried it couple times. Had to log off from Windows after each try, as I couldn't even force close Civ4..

That's actually my current setup here.
I'm having 3 computers/laptops (and 5 locations) across the world where I play Civ4 from regularely, the one where I'm currently at is unfortunately the only one where I only get my phone as hotspot, and the local provider isn't that great..
I think at some point I've to open an off topic thread about "how many different places have you been playing PB from" - I might actually have a shot at winning that, unlike PB games
Sorry for the delay, again

Yeah, I had to bring up task manager to get it closed as well.

There's a couple hours left on the clock, should we pause for GT, is he still having the same troubles? Or do we let it roll bc he didn't ask for a pause?
Peace is non-negotiable

personally i'd prefer to pause unless we don't hear from them for, like, more than 24 hours, which i think is pretty unlikely given their track record
