As far as I'm aware there's no way to check how many EP's a rival nation has invested against anyone except you. Thus there's no need to bother spending espionage against allies (unless you've made some sort of tech stealing arrangement).
I am pretty sure I know one... but it requires a log-in and a Print Screen IF I am right.

So... I am pretty surprized that you did not know this Parkin, but I guess you learn new stuff all the time:
If you enter the foreign Advisor you may click on portrets of your combatants and look at their spending of EP on eachother.
Right now I've clicked on suttree and looked at his rate vs Maga. It's actually a nice piece of intel.

I was just idly making the observation that no-one had finished the Bronze Working tech since. No guarantee that the person who most recently finished BW was the one who switched to Slavery of course, it could always be someone who finished it a few turns ago.
Yeah, and a revolt to slavery is probably telegraphing that their first settler just finished.
I'm actually quite looking forward to seeing if you can prove that the RB metagame for when to settle (turn 28-35ish) is too fast. I wouldn't be surprised at all if we're the last ones to have a second city down.

Oh... on another note: I was online onb my Steam-list and noticed that I know Halvgud IRL. I just did not connect the signs at first
+Does that message from Raptorious in general mean that a barbarian are going to rape their city, or are they just concidering whipping for a warrior or not?

Neat, that's great. I'm sure I've moused over the portraits before but just never paid attention to the EP part.

Always glad to learn something new.

Pretty much, and a first whip signals that the second city is probably only 1-3 turns away.

I don't think it'll prove that in general - no one opening can - but as far as I could tell through sims, with our particular geography having two Workers prior to our first Settler build always comes out ahead of only one Worker. At least if we want a reasonable chance to secure Stonehenge as well as to expand.

Ok, interesting to know.

No idea, but I hope not. Any crippled civ that's not our immediate neighbour is effectively a penalty for us, since someone else will suddenly have a lot more easy land at their disposal.

Sorry for not being on, but I suck at pretty much everything that we are doing right now due to the loss of scouting (which is the only thing that I am competent at).
Surprise! Turns out I'm a girl!

Turn 35
Domestics
Finished a chop. We'll nicely complete our second Warrior with the maximum possible overflow of 15 hammers and start on our Settler next turn, with the aid of another chop.
Demographics
Blame Caledorn had a population growth, while GG both had a population growth and finished a tech. Rival soldiers up by 4000.

Either team Dinosaur is even more green than I thought, or Sullla and Speaker are doing one hell of a good job pretending they have no idea what they're doing.

Uh... so what exactly is the difference between the story thread and this new "chronicle" thread? I was expecting direct game-related banter, but Raptorous's first contribution seems pretty much like story to me.
Also, it's a pain that Maga's pulled out. Guess we'll have to approach the new guy (Asterix) and see what's up. We'd agreed to the T183 NAP at least, so hopefully that will be respected... but it's frustrating having to deal with a complete unknown again.
No idea if this Asterix is someone we know playing under a pseudonym, or a real-life friend of Maga, or what. It seems unlikely to be the Asterix from Civfanatics, as he hasn't been active for almost a year.
