I didn't mean to induce anxiety or panic. I just wanted to say "eh" with the Canadian accent.

Are you sure you're evil enough to be a general lurker? Commodore, now that you've all but won the game, what are your plans for wrapping up the last few details of conquest and victory condition? On a more serious note: would Carracks be useful for something like a war vs Vikings? What about someone on another continent? Does the value of Carrack change based on if they're accessible by galley or not?

Nah, it's fine if that's all you were aboot, Boldly. By the way, proud of your archers? They're fast becoming the most heroic unit in the world, 9 xp and climbing.
Mardoc, I'm about to simultaneously conquer Pindicooter, Plako, Lewwyn, and dtay; that should smoothly wrap up all my elite competition. Carracks are nice war tools in exactly one window, Optics before Astronomy. Their ability to carry offensive units is pretty powerful compared to the mixture of caravels/galleys that anyone else has to float. A carrack is massively better than a slower galley...unless, of course, that galley isn't slower. Vikings are broken in a naval war. If I even can stomach my bile to kick off a war with the Vikings, it'll be Portuguese knights, not ships, that are my preferred vector.

Canada: Now with more units.
But we're not going to crash!

Everytime I see Lunberjack the old Monty Python scetch/song comes to mind

I always believed in you, Commodore.
I am just a mascot.
Yeah, I'm not happy about my past behaviour either.

I'm only disappointed it's taken you this long. On a slightly more serious note, do you have any mid-term plans, or are you still just focused on grabbing the scouted lands? Quote:the mixture of caravels/galleys that anyone else has to float. Ah, that's what I missed. You can't get by with just galleys once stronger units are on the field.

That's easily doable, but I'm not seeing the benefit of that 11th; Vancouver needs Edmonton's borders to expand to let it start with the deer, while the other southern fillers are just kind of bleh. Perhaps if this extra western island has something amazing...otherwise, just keep calm and carry on spamming Canada jokes. It's actually a bit dismaying how little more there is to gainfully REX; maybe the island east of Baffin reachable via Edmonton, maybe more isles west. I just don't know. I do have a wonder plan:
