Comment on Gav carving through GT made me wonder again: What is Piccadilly's plan?

About Amica withdrawing; I would bet Amica has vision in his former city from all the espionage spending Pin was complaining about earlier. Vision is very useful. Or could have just felt it was time to get out of dodge.

That would make sense, another method is sending out obsolete units/workers and then deleting them before ending turn, so you can see where your opponent is staging units without alerting them.

Amica for some reason just edited in another picture, but first version of 2nd picture did indeed show the vision (and you can kind of tell with current one).

But yes you are right El Grillo. Nothing else to do with all your workers at this stage when dying so if you had 10 of them or whatever that is 10 turns of suicide vision missions.

That warrior really needs to attack. C'mon buddy, I want to be able to reach that hut.

I'm not sure, but I think in CtH the barbs never attack Unit+settler ?
So Commodore has to found a city or remove the settler ?

I believe the CtH rule is that they won't attack a stack containing both a Settler and a unit that counts for Military Police purposes - so suiciding against an Explorer should be possible even before founding the city.

Pindi has been feeling out how we feel about a war with Commodore, and we're really not feeling it. Fighting plemo's advanced navy was bad enough, and Commodore can strike cities from ocean as well as units. Instead we try to signal that we'll stay out of it and not backstab him if he goes for it

I find it interesting that Tarkeel doesn't list that Commodore did help them in their war. That is worth quite a bit in my book.

You are right. Basically, he says "we can't", while I expected a "we don't want to".

Just another "are you kidding me moment" from the fog, what could possibly go wrong with goody huts on astro-land?

Dudes you chose to play with huts on a map type you knew would have astro lands.

I know Amica was losing money, but Scooter letting the stack get hit first by knights is still super iffy. His cats while not killed by flanking were basically rendered useless and therefore his counterattack was a dud. He had 1 free turn of strike to wait at the very least.

Agree with Gav that Mig wasted their lead, but sounds like they got bailed out by DZ attacking Magic.

I also agree with Gav that I have no clue what Piccadilly is up to.
