I agree with gekko there -while less so then jungle, FFH forest is entirely detrimental, (except elves) even early mining civs its a loss, as one always wants to go via calender (okay not if you start next to gold) and the hammers given are vaguely pathetic.
Erebus in the Balance - a FFH Modmod based around balancing and polishing FFH for streamlined competitive play.

cool... that was so "not your last post" :D
march or april or even december 2013 is ok for me ... as long as it is not "never" ! (that last one would be ok too.. but if it was clearly announced).

Nah, see ... he has to make at least one update a year or else RB will claim his soul
the upside to this is that if he keeps updating each year he could live FOREVEERRRRR! Which is, I think, the reason why he signed the dotted line

Upon further investigation of the Drill line, I no longer think reducing it to three promotions is wise or necessary.
I almost concluded that no changes could be made BUT! I have come up with a solution that I believe most could agree to.
strike, strike, two chances, strike + chance
or in other words
Drill1: +1 fs
Drill 2: +1 fs
Drill 3: +2 fs chances
Drill 4: +1 fs chance, +1 fs

Chance, strike, two chances, two strikes.
As you can see, this makes drill 1 a bit too weak and drill 4 a bit too large an increase. So it's a very minor change.
My intent was not to just swap things around however. The approach I used was to deconstruct the entire line into its component parts: 3 chances and 3 strikes, and to reassemble them into something I thought kept up the progression while not over or under powering any particular step. End result is drill one takes some of drill 4's power. Leaving 4 at still the strongest promotion at 1n 1
