The victory screen would tell you this, under the Domination section.

Which of course is how you're planning to win mischief

Thanks, Mardoc.

Can you forward me the save, Molach? I'd like to take a look and do the math I proposed above.

I don't have anything to add, but I'm really interested to see if you can pull it off. A few HAs would definitely help. Also, once you find your target, if you think you can get your expedition there quickly enough, you probably don't need more than a very thin defense (... not that humans don't do that anyway ...) and just enough time to convert your cities.

This is very much into the popcorn realm. I like it. smile

Done. Used the address from WW6.

The victory screenshot I posted showed my with 9.12% pop and Serdoa 10.00%. But this would be the pop number(1000-6000 etc which really are meaningless), and not the number of citizens pr city?

Also there is something fishy about when the victory kicks in, there most definately are some requirements I haven't understood yet.

Would anyone know enough about XML to say where would be a good place to start?

...I knew that about 80 percent, but in the tests I set up, I would have 100% for a while....then suddenly get the victory. Either world pop needs up, or it's simply a delay in number of turns to be played.

Okay.

My main concern is Serdoa - we're at war. I can defend well enough, but a NAP would be safer.

I haven't made a draft yet, but the things I want to convey in a message are:
* I had plans to attack him, and didn't take peace or nap earlier because I needed to keep him on the toes. And, of course, build the GotN.
* I now see futility of doing so
* I'll race him to the tower of mastery if he wants.
* I'll take a NAP.
* I'll take a NAP longer than whosit, but whosit must not be told this - because I will plan a dual attack on Serdoa along with whosit.
(I'm guessing perhaps Whosit has a turn 125 NAP...which would fit the timeframe perfectly)
Serdoa wanted to sign a T150 NAP earlier, so he obviously had some plan, and probably knew that I could never build the tower in that time, so he might take the deal.

Now, to whosit:
*Convince him to play on, and we attack serdoa together when his NAP is over.
* Somehow forget everything about a NAP. Or perhaps better something along the lines of "NAP for as long as we are at war with Serdoa, till 5 turns after the time when he has less score than either of us."
* If pressed for a NAP, I don't really know what to do. Stall, maybe. Depends on when we make contact, how far in the future is Operation ROC.

You can't get victory for the first x turns. (Read pitboss 6!)
I have no idea how diplomatic victory is calculated, but I'm pretty sure other religions interfere greatly.

That was land area wasn't it? Population was 32% you, 42% him.

IIRC, even if he puts another religion in the city, half of the pop still counts as RoK, so it sounds do-able.

Cool plan and nice thread up to now. I look forward to seeing it play out.popcorn

Do you know what X is? I haven't been watching PB6.

For a quick duel map, X seemed to be 15 turns so probably nothing to worry about at turn 101.
But perhaps that is all there is to it.
Hm. If I have 32% pop, and Rok has 49% now, then after I convert it should be 81%. Hm.
I could convert two of my cities to Rok but that would push the RoK-percentage up a bit, so not sure I wanna do that. Besides probably need the time to grow my cities (into unhappiness) if need be.

Official story with Serdoa is that I'll race him to the tower, or perhaps bluff and plan for invasion. Either way, I can't explain why I would switch out of Aristo, sadly. Think I'm stuck with it.

And fellow conspirators, all the recent activity here is of course you telling me to resign, and me stubbornly refusing. Right.

Sick kid, so no time to talk....just spam all these.
(GA was lair pop, if that isn't clear. New Gperson will be born before the GA runs out, so I should be in a GA next 16 turns.)

Yup, no time to even write [spoil-er] and [/sphoiler]

About techs, I'm thinking KotE, fishing and sailing...depends a bit on scouting, of course. But perhaps boats and air mana will mean I can take RoK holy city amphibiously. Who knows. Not like I've scouted, or anything.

I'd change out of Aristocracy. Maybe to God King. That + the fact you'll get a GP soon might distract Serdoa (GK for building something in Capital, more food to work more specialists). Do you have a Civic that enables specialists? Changing into that could work to distract Serdoa even further, if it won't hurt your plans in any other way.

Maybe we can fake going for a Cultural Victory? Can Serdoa see your techs? If he can, teching a culture tech could also help distracting him of our true plans. Cultural Victory on FfH is best achieved by growing your cities a lot and using loads of specialists. Serdoa probably knows that. He won't fear a CV, since we can't get one in the next 100 turns or so (lol ), and he can just raze any city, after the 20 whatever turns NAP expires. But that would explain the thread spam (crazy scheme) and why you are massively growing your cities. It even explains the GP used in a second GA (unlucky no GBard pop).

Crazy scheme? Are you saying this isn't a crazy scheme? lol

Have we told Serdoa that we're not going to war with him after all? It seems like it could be useful to keep him looking in our direction... and it's not like we're not building a military anyway. On the other hand, he might try to take our cities because of that. On the other hand, if we get a NAP with him, he might wonder why we're building a ton of chariots, assuming he notices that's what we built. Ideally, he's feeling set enough that he doesn't actually worry about this stuff... and who knows; maybe he's actually planning to conquer the world when his other NAP runs out. In any event, I think the only things acting like you're done teching after all is going to preclude is the Altar and the Tower. If you're set on faking a culture victory, though, make sure to get access to (and maybe even build) the Lyre. It's just not plausible otherwise.

As for techs... just check the trading screen. Even when no tech trading is allowed, you're only shown other people's techs when you get the Trade tech, so you can find out who has it by whether you can see their techs. (After all, you have to know what techs they have to ask for them.)

fakedit: Oh, one more thing... if you are going to get a NAP, you're going to need to make sure you take the Holy City before the NAP with Whosit runs out, because he might snipe it either to win that way or to prevent a win from that by someone else.
