Death, Angel, And Apple seem certain to me for sure. Apple because the devil tempting with the forbidden fruit in the garden.

But not sure after that. I don't like ivory. I want to say air but I don't know why. How else would that word be used in edit, why not just use devil or Satan or lucifer instead?

Edit: I think there's a bible passage describing the devil as "prince of air and darkness" but I'm not sure and I think that alone is a bit tenuous of a connection.

I'm strongly against APPLE. That's a sure red guess and I think it's the reason why OH said Beelzebub instead of Satan/devil, to point us away of this biblical passage.

Regarding pop references, I'm pretty sure there's a manga series with this name, though I don't know what's about. I doubt OH would know about this, though. Perhaps there's a movie that makes a match between Beelzebub and NEW YORK? I don't know.

I like DEATH, ANGEL and IVORY. The problem with IVORY and ANGEL is that OH could perhaps have made a bigger clue in his first round if these words were also avaiable.

Maybe SLIP? As in, the devil is waiting for you to slip so he can get to you? I don't know...

I'd say DEATH, ANGEL and IVORY and pass. If we get 3 words, OH needs to clue only 2 words, which usually is possible (especially if AIR is the last BEELZEBUB one).

Or better yet... Perhaps just DEATH and ANGEL. Maybe AIR too... I'm afraid our other guesses have a chance to be red. I think it may be worth narrowing the field of words a bit, instead of throwing unsure guesses.

I agree with ANGEL and DEATH as the obvious ones, as well as AIR ('prince of the power of air'). APPLE also seems like an automatic choice but I take Ichabod's point on that.

IIRC Beelzebub appears in Lord of the Flies but I never got round to reading that. Has anyone?

I have, but I can't remember where Beelzebub appears. Perhaps it was lost in the portuguese translation. The main thing it could refer to, though, doesn't show in the options.
