That faint green above my sign. That is where Lewwyn is.

Id hope that the horses are a bit closer. While im still hoping for close copper SOMEWHERE.

But you have to admit, it would be way cooler if they would use cows. wink

New UU idea? mischief

tightened up my city placements.. Still got some space north of the capital to eventually use, along with whatever shows up to the west.

Would be even better if there was some seafood along that shore as well.

Nice with the secondary copper. C3 feels like the natural city 2 now in my view.

Totalt agree about Creative, would have been the trait in this start.

Are you going for mysticism next? If not, you could consider a city 1 nw of c3 with rice and bronze in first ring

Thanks, that line was too faint to see on my screen.

If the pink-dot city just south of Lewwyn is to be serious I would put it on one of the plain-hills. It would also likely need a support city between marble and rice, but overall it's probably too ambitious to pull off.

I like the rest of the dotmap, but Lewwyn is likely to throw a spanner into the works here.

So, Question for our glorious mapmaker.....

What. The. Hell is this horse location? Directly towards my rather close neighbor, my ONLY source of horse, and its 6tiles from him ( from my calculations ) and just 5 from me. Why just 1 source?

im just chalking up this pitboss as a healthy dose of karma to myself.

Hey I also wanted to inform you about a tiny UI bug that only affects you. When you hover over a foreign trade route in your city screen it will still show the domestic bonus and a wrong number in the hover itself. Don't worry all the numbers in the back and the trade route section are still correct. It's only a UI bug which I fixed in future versions.

I do love RNG i really do. Was counting on that warrior to safeguard a new city. To continue my ACTUAL micro plan that i had. Now i have to deviate and build another warrior or at least if i dont wanna /ragequit if i send my settler into uncharted lands and it gets sniped. Watch. Ill complete this warrior, and the barb will attack across river onto my city on a hill warrior at full hp, and beat me. banghead

So anyway, been in a bit of a slump. Feel wayyy behind in expansion so i decided to go for double settlers and climbed to 4 cities. Now, if you have been following along with all my PB's.. you will know that anytime i dont follow my "strict must do some silly rush, no farmers gambit!" i, myself... get rushed or messed with. First it was the barbs killing my warrior at a really low odds, and forcing me to switch off of the settler i was building to another warrior. NOW, its both Lewwyn with a forward plant onto what is... MY hill ( honestly its border territory, kinda shit map distance ) and a warrior coming to try and prevent me from hooking up copper. And of course, i had decided to settle on a hill vs 1st ring horse, so no horse for awhile.

So here is my plan: Quit if Lewwyn wins several low odds warrior vs warrior fights and burns Utica, OR quit if that barb warrior kills my warrior across a river in a city @Carthage.

If neither of those things happen... depending on if Lewwyn ever takes peace, i will either Numid him to death. Or, spam settlers and then Numid him to death.

Future mapmakers, Dont put 2 people this close with a strategic resource for 1 player directly in the middle of both players.. ESPECIALLY IF MY OTHER NEIGHBOR IS 500 tiles away. /rant

So im fucked. The barb warrior decided to pillage my pigs, instead of just attacking across the river. Which... fucks my whole "go for archery, and whip an archer and SEND THAT SHIT to my horse city.. sooo Yay barbs, you won this game.

Oh, and if i see that lewwyn won either warrior battle for the city or the 2 workers trying to connect the copper. Im strongly thinking about raging out of this pb. Just a heads up.
