My random idea was Egypt and shrine Confu, although maybe it isn't as good because we have no reason to go for early AH yet. Need to have a look at the starting tech table yet.

Ya, from Agri/Wheel/Mining I like Mali best, China backup, or the Egypt plan that I outlined (we will want AH for sure, the question is just before or after pottery). The other Agri/Wheel options are just bad or no good fit.
If after simming we want Zara, I'd take him first. Org has been pretty popular, so it's likely somebody would pick him. Otoh if we can live with either of JC/Roosevelt/Zara/Asoka/Mehmed/... , civ first makes sense. I think Zara is quite important for the marble plant, because the worker is sped up by a turn and the FPH could well be or 2nd city. For SIP he has no particular value.
I ve been trying a quick sim now, and it seems SIP has a couple of advantages: 1 turn faster tundra farm, 9 gold, 7f and also a couple of more forest to chop (Incompleted information since we dont know the amount in marble site yet)
Advantages of Marble site: More hammers early (and forever), it allows us to get a nice second city (not sure if we could get another nice second city SIPing), the early hammers could be nice to get a couple of scouts that allow us to get some KTB bonnuses early and also better places to settle. Not sure which is nicer actually. No worries, ill be this night around here too so we can still talk about this. Ill send you an updated sim in the next couple of hours, now i need to have lunch :P |
