[spoilers] Superdeath's 69th Risque' thread.

I wouldn't support that change. The need to have a city on the coast to lighthouse a lake is one of the fun quirks of positioning a city and can lead to interesting trade offs.

"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. [Image: noidea.gif] In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

Magic conquered (and didnt raze, even if PBSPY seems to show that he did) the barb city to my left. So that shuts down a couple cities. I basically have to expand east, and atm i only have 2 cities that can produce ANYTHING. The rest (including the capital) Has to whip to get anything done. At least i have fur.. Even if i get the 3 cities in the east, only 1 of them has any production outside of whipping. Sigh. Am i really going to rush catapults and go conquer Magic?

"nice craftsman yaddi yaddi ya" = shock on vultures.

WHY NO SHOCK ON VULTURE. Every other time you upgrade a unit it gets all the stats/ect that the upgrade has. Why not the shock? @charriu??

WHY does this matter? Well dear lurker. My quiet peaceful Mansa Musa life has uh, been turned upside down.

MS who apparently is batshit crazy. Bing who IS batshit crazy. Annnnnnd Ginger with a chariot. (Bing double moved his axe from out of visibility SE of Ginger's Chariot to the Ginger Chariot location last turn, and is now fortified where it is. Not a single dollup of trust for anything about this. Luckily Gavagai is in a world of fun elsewhere, or my Other border would be just as... Interesting.

My lurker question is can Ramk give that vulture shock, or am i just SoL.

So it was a warrior upgraded to vulture? Just clarifying. I have no clue if it is supposed to work or not.

The promotion events all work the same way as buildings, which give promotions, like the Dun for example. They give the promotion when the unit is created. The event has one exception of course that is when it first triggers it gives the promotion once to all valid units.

The dun/buildings like that make sense. The event saying that all vultures have shock.. should work on units period. Did this upgraded warrior just pick up a rusty axe vs a new one? banghead

I was only describing what technically happens in the background.
