[PB70] Lurking under the tables

Yes, but now that he has the galley he can also settle the contested island smile. But yes, jungle island was a weird choice to go first. But he may not have known it isn't contested, and then didn't want to change plans maybe?

Fwiw, I don't think missing a sign is worth a reload. If it was the start of the snowball or war related I'd think otherwise. Might be worth it to keep the game moving though.

This is kinda messy. It's not a double move by bing, but you also shouldn't declare while someone is playing their turn. I doubt this would have happened if Charriu was playing, so I'm inclined to agree with a reload to bings login and let grillo finish the turn.

Edit: I missed that the worker was unsaveable. No reload IMHO.

Not sure why Bing is agreeing to this tbh. The between turn thing doesnt appear to be relevant, as Grillo had already let the worker be killed at that point.

Also, if Charriu is cheesing him out of the war with this then that feels kinda icky. Not sure it does work that way though.

Anyone else wants to weigh in? Bing should have been able to tell that the city would expand borders since Charriu is CREative. Best is probably to reload to the original conflict, grillo finishes turn and then bing plays.

Sigh.

Yes. Just reload.

This kind of thing can cause bad blood. Having players replay a turn is not a big deal in games that span months.

Charriu lost a Worker to Bing on Turn 64 because of confusion from the switch to a sub. Bing generously agreed to return the Worker out of good sportsmanship, and Charriu tricked Bing into returning the Worker in such a way that Bing's Skirmisher lost a turn of movement towards Charriu's city.

Charriu has his 1 Worker and 1 extra turn vs. Bing's Skirmisher, so he is happy, and does not want a reload.
Bing has 1 lost turn with his Skirmisher, so he wants a reload. But he is fine with giving back the Worker.

Treacherous diplomacy is allowed, but Charriu's actions seem different. He went around the lurkers to resolve a matter that should have been resolved by the lurkers, and used the opportunity to trick another player for an in-game advantage. Like conducting diplomacy in the tech thread, which is not allowed even in this game.

I think we reload to the start of Turn 64 (the very start so the Worker has not used its queued action yet). Then Charriu/El Grillo play first half, and Bing plays second half. The Worker is saved and there will be no weirdness or delay with the Skirmisher.
Alternatively, Charriu/El Grillo logs in first half and moves ONLY THE WORKER, then log out to let Bing have the first half otherwise, then Charriu/El Grillo plays second half. I propose the alternative because right now Bing has the first half and after all his discussion about the etiquette thread rules from him he might be mad to lose it.
Both these alternatives mean Charriu gets his 1 Worker but not his 1 extra turn vs. Bing's skirmisher.
I don't know.

Someone else should decide the solution and post it to the players, because the last time I resolved a dispute in a diplomacy game, the game promptly ended unhappily.

This entire incident has really worsened my opinion of Charriu, and hardened my resolve to never play a diplo game.

I really don't understand what Bing wants here. If he didn't want to punish the mistake by capturing the worker, why did he do it? It was obvious that a player leaving it exposed was a mistake, and El Grillo admitted that the worker was unsaveable. Oh well, I support reloading to the start of T64 to fix this mess.
