After years of being slightly jealous of how much time he spends on the computer, I've decided to give in rather than give up. So now my hubby Zed and I are going to start playing Guild Wars together. This is an opportunity for me to meet 'the other woman' so to speak, in his life, which is the gaming community.
I've been playing GW for around 2 weeks, and currently I'm playing a R/Mes named Courin Aziel. So far so good (haven't died THAT much) and I'm liking the game. My daughter, now 6 1/2 going on 15, is particularly fond of watching character creation and critiquing the hairstyles and color choices I make. LOL
For those of you who have read Shadow's interview with him, you'll know my hubby and I met at University in a gaming club. I was much more a role-player than computer game player until I met him (and even now, I've only played Diablo and now Guild Wars with him, I tend to prefer puzzle games like 7th Guest, 11th Hour, Jewels of the Nile, Myst, etc) so this is still pretty new to me.
I may know some of you from Zed's Honor-Might days, so feel free to say hello!
