Nice! I'm excited to see if this can work.

Marble makes Oracle a more efficient build, but waiting for a marble quarry means it's not always the fastest way to get it.
I have to run.

Sweet. You say east of your capital; does that mean that you could settle your second city with those Pigs, Marble and some floodplains? Cause that would be saweet.
I'm also curious to know if the Marble will be able to significantly reduce how long it takes you to build the Oracle, but my gut feeling is that with the right amount of OCD micro, it can.
By the way, I really enjoyed your Mass Effect-themed analysis of your opponents. Keep it up!

My impulse is to settle on the marble and have all the chops come immediately after the city is founded.

Thanks
Okay, so after two marathon sessions of fighting with those blasted worldbuilder rivers, I finally got managed to complete a WB save of all the territory I've uncovered in game thus far:
If any of my lovely ded-lurkers, or anyone just passing by, would like to take my position for a spin, I've attached the WB save. Your position is the one I faced at the beginning of the last turn, t15. I ordered the worker to chop the forest he's currently in. Not included is the warrior I have scouting the east.
I have yet to really play with my creation, but I took it for one spin earlier and here's what I got:
My tech path was: Animal Husbandry, Mysticism, Meditation, Priesthood, Masonry, Pottery. I landed the Oracle on t45. See if you can do better
I'll post some more thoughts after I've run through my WB save a few times.

Random Notes
Wonder Shopping List:
Oracle
Pyramids
Parthenon
The Great Library
Prioritize Code of Laws for Caste System to pop borders. Courthouses are also significantly better with Espionage on.
Long Term Tech Targets: Guilds, Banking, Gunpowder
Pop out GA, will serve as deterrent to those who might settle up on me. Possibly bulb Music?
If Pyramids falls before I can rush them, use GE to rush wonder, or bulb Machinery?

Moved warrior, found dyes, hit enter.
There are only so many balanced ways you can arrange 5 civs on a Pangaea. Given that it seems I am in the southwest corner of the Pangaea, I'm guessing the civs are arranged something like this:
I expect I have a neighbor right on the other side of that jungle. Both my warriors are defogging in that direction, and I expect I'll make contact within the next half-dozen turns. Here's hoping it's not Angry Rusher Commodore or Can I Haz Phracts Mistabod.
At that point, with two warriors, I'll have the option of laying a choke on the unlucky bastard or going on my merry way. If this was an online MP game, I would choke whoever it is, no questions asked. However, since this is an epic game, it may behoove me to play nice; especially since I want to sandbox my way to the Oracle in peace.
Still need to find Stone, if not for the Pyramids, for Oxford and Moai.

Anyone care to point out the problem with this?
