Aggressive city plant, felt like it was inevitable that you'd just come back later and cause more trouble, so I tried to wipe you out. Then you had those bloody offshore cities that made me protect my newly acquired resources. I had wanted to attack Meiz with Chu Ko Nus before you interfered, but a two-front war with the poor production lands I had was simply untenable.

Alright, fair enough. I didn't think of it as aggressive plant because you hadn't shown any signs of wanting to expand, and Meiz had already settled a city in similar distance many many turns ago.

Meiz's city was a similar distance from my 2nd city rather than my capital, and I had eyes on settling my 4th city just my side of the mountain range. Would've been interesting to see how the game would've panned out had you accepted peace at one of the stages that I'd offered it to you.
