Well that turned out pretty damn well in the end. There's a slight possibility of 3 centres for me if I stab England in Sweden with German support.

I'm not sure I will do that though, as I saw what happened to Germany when it got 3 centres and I don't want to put a huge target on my back. If I get an exceptional offer from Germany then I may take the risk but the chances of that are pretty low IMO.

Yeah... so internet & forum troubles and the entrenched situation has kind of killed my reports for this game.

Basically, me and MJW are just going through the motions of defeating Rowain & scooter while just keeping a friendly eye on the west to see where the dust falls.

I'm keeping touch with Cyneheard as he may be my best chance of hurting MJW later if he turns on me, and me and dtay seem to be at an understanding over defeating Germany which is better than having him as an enemy and keeping more force up north.

Hoping to pick up BUL and maybe get lucky on a convoy to CON or ANK this turn though I have not given up hope of pinching a German centre this turn or simply gaining DEN back. Depends what Mattimeo decides to do - especially now Rowain has abandoned his home for survival in German centres.

Overall position is pretty good, but with MJW as your major ally, you can never sleep easy

Well well well, I have no idea if me and Matt have been negotiating completely openly or not, but I may have a devilish scheme in my pocket for this turn.

Germany vacates DEN and uses the army & SKA support to attack SWE (agreed)

I convince ENG to support me into KIE (dtay proposed it, I can accept it)

I actually move my fleet to DEN in case ENG stabs at it. Thus I bounce DEN or hold it - either way it remains my centre.

I convince France to support the German army in MUN to thwart Rowain while VIE is taken & Austria destroyed


Or this plan could be even more devilish.

I convince ENG that GER will stab at Norway, and I move HEL to NTH as DEN remains mine if unoccupied.

Get France to attack the English channel with all 3 fleets and hope that one of the ENG supports actually heads to defend NTH.


Or I can be a complete bastard and just use this knowledge of Germany's plans and stab him brutally after spending ages turning him around from wanting to screw me to wanting to work with me.


What do the lurkers think? I'm guessing an overwhelming vote for bastardy

Heck, if I went with my bastardy plan and could convince MJW to let me hold VIE for one turn & pick right on the convoy into Turkey plan, I could pick up 4 builds...

But 3 would be nice enough

Maybe all these updates are triggering diplo to go into overdrive.

I now have offers from both Rowain & scooter to help them screw MJW while helping me out.

Rowain wants me to support him into VIE, which is okay for me as then he won't be able to take MUN which helps me help Germany and means I don't need France or Italy to support them to survive.

scooter wants me to support him in BUL and he will then leave a home SC free for me to take. If I do things his way, he will let me gain all his centres.

This gives me more opportunities.

I could completely shake up the diplomatic board this turn if Cyneheard gets on board.
