Let's try the T-Hawk approach - which words remaining would cause pjabrony to think of Clinton? I'm going to go with PLASTIC GENIUS WASHINGTON CHICK - although that's assuming one political orientation - if he has a different orientation it might substitute RACKET for GENIUS or PLASTIC

Fine, I have to guess then: Washington, Chick, Racket, Undertaker.
Washington is obvious, and that's the overlap with Pointy, which the team never thought of. Chick is not Hillary but Monica Lewinsky. Now I get to add the information that I know PJ's political orientation. He would certainly associate the Clintons with RACKET and not GENIUS. The best guess I can make for the fourth is UNDERTAKER, referring to the "Epstein didn't kill himself" meme. There also has to be one overlap with the Hobbit clue in there, and Undertaker has enough of a weak connection for that, the army of the dead.
Not knowing pja's political orientation, I would say:
Clinton 4: WASHINGTON/CHICK/RACKET/GENIUS
(With GENIUS reclued from Hobbit, and either WASHINGTON or RACKET from Pointy.)
After reading T-hawk's spoiler, still I prefer that list. Even Republicans must admit that Bill Clinton (alongside Reagan, Obama, etc) had uncommon political talents, i.e. GENIUS? And that fits far better with Hobbit (a work/author of GENIUS) than UNDERTAKER, which is surely one of the Black words? I think the reason it was clued as Hobbit instead of Tolkien was to steer away from SHAKESPEARE, not GENIUS. I can't really see any other word for Hobbit, frankly. I thought of QUEEN, for the Queen of the Elves who appears in the stories, but that was eliminated early.

If you had been on the team, I would have not given that clue, because I know you know that. I was counting on a more general interpretation of the Clintons, in that they were both intelligent enough to connect to GENIUS and had enough of a reputation for corruption to connect to RACKET.
