So Windows decided it didn't want to boot any more. And then didnt' want to work from a previous checkpoint. And then didn't even really want to reinstall itself. So I had to go back to factory reset on my laptop. Have done the big reinstalls, but am still working my way through all the system updates over the last 3 years. I do have Steam and Civ installed again, but we'll see if I'm able to get everything reinstalled and patched and such in time to play the turn tonight.
