Besides Edirne, of your cities on the northern shore probably only the one on the peninsular to our north-west was of importance.

Quite a difference in perspective, when you're not the one running the empire, I guess. The east was the vast majority of my production power. And my only oil. If I wanted to fight you instead of concede, that's what I needed to keep intact.

"The East" isn't equal to "the northern shore".
