Time to fight to the last german, eh?smile

How can you be winning the game, winning your 2v1 war, and the aggressor at that, and still be so indignant that people dare to oppose you?  rolleye

@ Oledavy

Please Oledavy, no reason for your propaganda here, you are winning this big time plain and simple.

Only thing stopping you was splitting your fleet up for 3 norwegian cities. You prolonged the pain.

I offered peace repeatedly.smile

Why you can not be content with your spanish, norwegian and jersualem conquests?

@ Singaboy

Not sure what the idea here is, throwing away crossbowmen en masse to annoy me? As I said we can have peace.

What was I supposed to do when you allied Oledavy, wait for you two to attack me?

@ Woden

I can keep them busy for some time, but you probably need to win this, not me.

How many times can I say, only three ships that attacked Spain and Norway could have made it to the final battle, and they were out of range to join after I made the decision to engage in the North Sea instead of defending the straits. The other six were produced too late to reach it and so were set to do more efficient local things. You won a battle at 22 v 12 odds thanks to your GAs.

If by offer peace you mean offer absurd peace deals that don't actually address our grievances, then sure yes. Gosh oh gee, I guess that peace deal where I give you all of Norway and Spain with no security guarantee for Germany or NAP to prevent you from coming back in 10 turns to finish what you started was a good one. Clearly I should have selected it.

And you know why I can't win from this position? You have Woden in your pocket about to sacrifice everything he has to bloody me while you just sit back and eliminate Germany. We could have an interesting three power end game here, but you are determined to end it now by consuming Germany.

It looks like you will have a reprieve from fighting Japan in the near future, he is moving to set up an attack on my coastal cities but don't worry, I don't think he will be able to do much damage to 71 strength cities with walls. May get 6-10 points of damage per shot until the walls fall and I will have MGs before that happens.

I would suggest if Germany doesn't want a share of the spoils, keep working on him. I might be able to send some MGs over that way to help out once I set my attack on Japan.

Hey Woden.

So, I take it at this point the Nationalism Inspiration didn't work. Don't worry, I know you're going to have Nationalism in 1-3 turns. And I see you're running Bastions. Your cities are tougher nuts to crack than they were.

This still doesn't change the underlying facts of the situation. I can do some damage to you, whether it be city razes, TR pillages, sinkings, etc. before you can drive me off. Then, it's anyone guess who prevails. 8 MG's versus all my stuff? I predict a bloodbath either way.

The point is, this conflict will benefit neither of us. Archduke will simply have a chance to finish off Germany and integrate it into his empire while you do his dirty work for him. After we fight, your navy is not going to be strong enough to defeat his and win the game. Moreover, if you go to war with me, you're going to effectively put me in an unwinnable position. I will have no motivation to do anything for the rest of this game but make sure you don't win.

You want to know why Singaboy won't switch sides? It's because Archduke put him in an unwinnable position and Archduke is offering him nothing that changes this fundamental fact. If you put someone out of the running, you need to be prepared to finish them off or otherwise have an exit strategy they'll accept. Archduke doesn't want peace, he wants to win. Fair enough, I respect that. But if you continue down your current path, you will not win this game and instead will simply help Archduke achieve victory.

So, I have a deal to propose. We sign a DoF next turn. This will not leave me in an unassailable position. The best unit I will get in that time are battleships. Still outclassed by your 240 hammer cost MGs. My numerical advantage is simply not enough to offset the qualitative advantages you and Archduke enjoy (if his 22 vs. 12 victory in the North Sea indicated nothing else). In return from this, I am prepared to offer you the following:

 - Jerusalem
 - 350 Gold
 - The former Spanish city of Halimede

Your position will be improved without you having to lift a finger, and you get 30 more turns to spam MG's out.

With your exit, I can force Archduke to make peace on the basis of returning Zuckerstadt to Germany and creating a security guarantee that allows Singaboy to be a player in this game again. I have no designs on England, my only purpose in this war was hitting Archduke hard enough to even the playing field and preventing him from consummating the war he started by conquering Germany. He doesn't need your help, he's already proven very capable of holding his own in a 2v1. You removing yourself from the conflict will not hand me the game. The world will return to peace for 30 turns, and we'll all have time to catch our breath, and build fleets, and have an interesting end game.

I have already declared war on Lisbon, all my traders are out of your range. Your potential gains from this conflict are that much fewer.

If there is a DoF from you waiting for me when I open t160, I will consider this offer accepted and I will offer you the concessions I have detailed above.

If anything else is waiting for me, it's war.

A peacedeal after you razed my science city, former Stockholm.

Right, oledavy, right. There will no peace for you.

The rest is the usual bullshit propaganda, yadayada, TheArchduke is a threat. Right, after I lost a core city and three norwegian cities whilst you remain untouched and conquer Spain.

Right..

@ Singaboy

What do you want for peace and an alliance 30 or 50 turns against Oledavy? I am sick and tired of his non stop killing spree against everyone?
All your cities back? 1-2 norwegian cities? Name your price.

You could have defended it, you had 4 turns of warning before the raze actually happened, but you chose to keep bloodying Germany instead.

Edit: Hell, Woden told you I was heading for your east coast long before that. Yet, you didn't redeploy your fleet to defend and instead took Zuckerstadt.

You know that is not true. 4 subs and 1 ironclad, I can´t beam my ships there. Please, for the love of god, stop pretending that you are in anything else then all out of war mode to conquer everything. It is tiresome by now, and must be for you, too. rant

See my edit. Also, didn't you use that very same fleet to beat 4 subs and 2 frigates? Compositionally almost exactly the same?

I'm sorry, I thought you got +1 movement on every ship from Dockyards, more when combined with 3 GA's.
