The thing keeping this interesting is that all 3 non-REM entities have already said they want to dogpile REM (BGN stated pretty confidently he would attack if Scooter did.) Now Dreylin and Scooter just have to actually act on it, but both have already stated they're paranoid of the other.
It will be interesting to see if REM keeps teching once he has the WWII era military, or he goes way further on to the modern units. Assuming the game isn't over momentarily.
Edit: Well Scooter and BGN's decisive-seeming actions just made this game a lot more interesting again didn't they.

I thought unit-gifting is forbidden.

Oops. Hopefully an obsolete unit to a non-war engaged opponent isn't game breaking.

I intervened so that no one plays before BRick can make a decision. Having Scooter replay an hour long turn would be pretty bad already but more than that would be a nightmare.
Edit : sending a PM to BGN right now as well in case he doesn't look at the tech thread

The problem is the strong diplo-meaning this has. Gifting a Unit is far more showing "lets work against REM" than money for money.

If Dreylin didn't see then Brick can just make Scooter reload. If not the diplo issue Rowain just pointed out is far worse than the unit itself so he'll have to hurt Scooter in arbitrary way. Drama!!!

Yeah, Dreylin hasn't logged in yet, so a reload should work.

Thanks you all for catching that, I was asleep and probably wouldn't have read his thread close enough to catch that before it was too late.
Luckily it sounds like scooter won't have to replay too much either, per his latest post in his thread.

People are all talking the right way. If he can be stopped, it'll be by the 4-way dogpile that's developing. It really depends on tactics and aggression, in my opinion.
He's made enough progress on Pindicator to have some of his armies tied down, but not enough for profit. If Boldly does something aggressive, if Scooter follows up (or kills REM's fleet on the defense), that could leave REM overstretched. Maybe the three of them could make progress on their own, but if not, surely Dreylin could tip the balance? Tanks are nice, but I believe a Sirian-fleet can still kill cities.
On the other hand, if Sullla successfully persuades Scooter to play this defensively/cautiously, and if Boldly is thinking the same way, that leaves REM with the initiative. Initiative plus miltech lead *would* mean victory, in my opinion.
