You solved that one way too easily. The tile yield was indeed 1/1/1 originally (as pictured by a screen shot posted somewhere in this thread months ago). The question whether it can be chopped by a worker on a boat is still to be answered, however.

I wonder if a workboat would "chop" it.

A workboat won't be able to enter the tile since it's ocean. Maybe if it was a coastal tile... Guess you can try that one next time you make a map.wink

All coastal units (from work boats to ironclads) can enter ocean territory if it's within your own borders (just your own, not an Open Borders ally or teammate.) That's how you improve ocean fish, for example. Also, work boats (but not other coastal ships) can enter ocean once you know Astronomy.

Doh!duh

You're right, of course. Honestly don't know what I was smoking when I wrote that one...

Too bad there is no Fish on the tile:

The turn is waiting for me in my inbox. Thought I'd just show you this before I play.

Quote:Pharaoh,

I have declared war on you in game. Do not fear, it is me simply doing so to allow you to attack me and wipe me from the game. The game is progressing slowly and my hope is that it will speed it up for the rest of you if I depart in last place.

My units have been deleted from garrison so one Horse unit will need to be sent to capture the defenceless city.

Best of luck for the rest of the game,

TT

Quote:Chancellor,

I shall meet your request. Thank you for playing.

Turn 147 - A New War in the East

...but no invasion. Unless you count Moogle's lone Sentry HA as an invasion, that is. I offered Timmy a white peace but he declined, and his 50+ Knight stack will be able to counter-attack me in three turns. Launching an attack against heavily entrenched Samba in such a short timeframe, without knowing what's hiding in the fog behind the city, is nuts. Yes, I'm also nuts. Just not to that extent, is all.rolleye

Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not going to roleplay my way to a military defeat. Here's the current front:

I used the GA to create a new defensive city and to put some pressure on Samba in the meantime. This will probably be a lasting border for the remainder of the game so I figured it was a worthy investment. Most of my units are currently stationed for display in Thespis Hill, as I see no better use for them.

Here's my best shot at convincing Timmy to sign peace:

Yeah, try working that corn now bitch!

Pathetic I know.duh

Scooter is teching at a rather crazy rate atm and so long as Moogle and Timmy sticks to doing his bidding there's nothing I can do to stop him. Game over? Maybe. Here's Plan B:
