One crucial mistake we made was the day I was lynched - both Irgy and Rowain were voting for Mr. Nice Guy. I should've had them (or one of them) vote to lynch me instead, because once I went down, it was painfully obvious who the other two wolves were. I had it in my head though that I was going to survive the day (meaning a near-guaranteed victory), so that's why that didn't happen...

Interesting to see what the lurkers were talking about during the game....
Overall this turned out to be a mostly unpleasant experience. Meta issues, role issues, most of the game being dominated by power roles and trusted networks. The level of acrimony certainly did not help matters. As a first experience with WW/Mafia type games, this certainly does not inspire any desire for another.
I wish you all luck with WW3, maybe the different rule set will work better.

Hmmmm, Well I had alot of reasons for doing what I did. I did get turned around sometimes, but we're fine in the end.
A note about the way I played too: I remember Selrahc posting in WW1 lurker thread that the he only considered people to have "won" if they survived to the end of the game. I really went into this game with that mindset. My Roland accusation was predicated on a couple things:
A) The game had gotten unfun, I wanted to shake it up.
B) I half believed Roland was a WW, but really maybe I just wanted to lynch him. The Uberfish and Ug debacles were too much for me and I saw him as either a WW or a liability.
C) I felt I would get some real information from the voting.
D) Self-preservation? Yeah if I'm wrong then I change the perspective that I'm a threat even if I am the last mason.
I've got a lot more but I wanted to get this out there. I'm still reading the lurker thread and man... I agree that a lot of the problems were caused by mismanagement. Sorry F&I I don't think you explained well enough.

The game gets silly really fast if you care about living to the end of it... You do not consider what it would lead to...

I disagree... with almost everything you say.

This turn of events was truly shocking to me. I went to work that day expecting to get lynched, and when I saw that it was you, of all people, who had been lynched I laughed out loud. Then to see that Gaspar contacted Dantski, Lewwyn, and ME, that was even more shocking. Really... the day before I was seriously considered wolf material. Turn that into being as trusted as two confirmed villagers and it means your lynching was the turning point in the game.
I'd like to say a word on the whole Serdoa as possessed thing. From as early as Day 1, I had Scooter tabbed as a wolf. Something about the way he led the cause for the Sareln voting in day 1 convinced me, and most of my PMs had to do with "we need to get Scooter". Then Serdoa cozied up to Scooter, and for a variety of reasons I became 100% convinced that he didn't have the villages best interests in mind - wolf, in other words. Fast forward to the day of Scooter's lynching. I know I'm innocent, and I know that Serdoa saved me (an innocent) and killed Scooter (wolf) in one vote. This was at a time when the wolves couldn't afford to start losing the numbers game. So that cleared Serdoa of all suspicion in my mind. But I was still convinced he shouldn't have been involved in the Network 2.0 because of his track record of going against the village.
So I for one had his role figured out, but had no idea that it was a role, if that makes sense... lol. Given the track record of everything else in the game, though, if I were a better player I would have been able to call out his role for what it was at that point of the game!
Anyway, go team village! Way to stick it to 'em!
Oh, and Rowain, I must ask... why me?
You can get a look at a t-bone by looking up the bulls ass but I'd rather take the butcher's word for it.

I also wanted to address the acrimony in the thread. From my point of view it seemed that a lot of the fighting was between me and Serdoa/scooter (of course from my POV ), but considering the outcome that I was right (at the time ) that they were in fact WW/possessed I don't see how that could have truly been avoided. Maybe I was too heated? I'm not sure, Scooter, Serdoa?

I didn't see any of the "acrimony" as excessive, out of place or even unusual. It's just part of the nature of the game. We're roleplaying a bunch of paranoid villagers being murdered one by one and who's only course is to in turn burn each other to death. There's going to be some heated arguments. You just have to not take it to heart.

From my perspective, I wasn't offended by anyone ever in the game. To me - it's game and we're all essentially playing roles. I don't think anyone was too heated per se, though I think (occasionally) some took things personally when they shouldn't have. I think the ambiguity of the roles is what made things seem worse than they were, as it put everyone in a generally annoyed mood I think. I saw lots of comments in the lurker thread (and even a few player comments) on how this was not a fun game at all and everyone was just too harsh... I honestly had plenty of fun in this game despite all the flaws it had.
