Glad to hear everything went okay technically and that you could get a handle on the game-state so quickly! Might want to be careful on the public spoilers (I know I'm guilty of it too) - your opponent might not have wanted the rest of us to know [redacted].
 Good luck in what I guess is your first multiplayer Civ experience, at least on this site!

The SMTP thing it suggests after you end turn? I don't think anyone knows.
